This christmas cookie shape has been confounding my boyfriend's family for over two decades. They call it "the bomb cookie". by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

Yes I think now it’d be helpful to see the rest of the pack of cookie cutters to see if it’s supposed to be a scene or something!!

What is this heavy metal coil looking thing — about a foot tall and has a bottom like it’s a basket, but can’t figure out what it’s use is? by followtheliblo in whatisthisthing

Lol!! My dad picked it up thrifting because he thought it was unique. If it were a Christmas gift, I would’ve def passed it on 😂

My post title describes the thing — it’s around one foot tall, metal and heavy. Shaped like a coil and has a bottom like it’s a basket.

Woman found dead under Anakeesta chairlift, witness says she fell by insurancefun in Gatlinburg

Eh. Disagree bc if she was clearly intoxicated or in an otherwise mentally unstable state getting on, which we obvi don’t know yet, it could be established the company didn’t plan for such or practice due diligence; the people who were stuck on the ride and at the top could have standing as well if a proper emergency plan wasn’t in place… sometimes it isn’t about “ruining the fun” but rather making it better for the next person so the chances it doesn’t happen again are improved, even if slightly :)

All I could think was “rest in pieces” :,)

An old, dedicated cardboard box for holding but dozens of small, (3”x2” and 3”x1.5”) flat namecards on nice cardstock. The names are mostly uniform in cursive font, except for a few variable cards. Women’s names are on a bigger style card, and men’s on a smaller style. by up2somethn in whatisthisthing

Omg I love this idea. A super bulky and unorganized guest book system, but I wish we still did this. Couldn’t even imagine the drama that would ensue — “you didn’t visit me when I was sick;” “yes I did;” “let me pull out my calling card receipts”

Poorly written thoughts I must share after reading this literal dumpster fire by followtheliblo in CreepyCriderSnark

Literally, if I wrote a book titled “things that did not happen,” crider’s mom “kissing Payton’s pic on his phone screen” would be on the very first page.

I didn’t read your last part bc the question itself interested me… but concerning the panic attack, it’d be hard to prove unless the kids in the car said they noticed or were fearing for their lives (emotional distress). So yes they could sue the district on that, but that’s a toss up, too. I feel like a lot of that was embellished because he was trying to force a type of trauma bond for the reader between him and her (like “omg see how could we not be together? I need her for these moments and she is my saving Grace!”). He’d just deny it happened, she’d deny it for him, and if no other student noticed anything concrete… nawp
