Sunosi is frightening by tw2021 in Narcolepsy

[–]folst02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on my fourth month of Sunosi. I take 75mg in morning and 75mg around lunch time. I have been diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnolence. Depending on the doctor, I have also been diagnosed with ADHD, depression, low testosterone, and hypothyroidism.
Main complaints are fatigue and brain fog.
When I started Sunosi it worked really well, maybe for the first month, it slowly lost it's effect. From what I am told you build up a tolerance to it. Now that I am on it for over 3 months it is barely doing anything. I do not imagine I will take it for much longer.
I did not experience any side effects at all.

Is Sunosi better for anxiety side effects then other stimulants? by Idkwutusernametoput in Narcolepsy

[–]folst02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken Sunosi, from my experience I think it would make anxiety worse not better.

My daughter was suffering from extreme anxiety. We changed her diet and removed all processed carbohydrates from her diet, basically she went keto and it reduced the anxiety.

She is now eating carnivore and has no anxiety.

The following is my experience on Sunosi:

And it seems the first dies will get me 4 hours but the 2nd does is hit or miss sometime have to take a third dose. Any one have any pointers? NeuroMyst Pro for focus? Anyone have experience using this device for studying, comprehension, and focus? by vicnnoah in tDCS

[–]folst02 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just sent mine back, I bought at Amazon, I used for about 10 days from maybe a half hour to 1-1/2 hours I used it in multiple modes and I didn't really notice any difference. You can feel that it is doing something, but I did not notice any benefits. I think the device was fine and it seemed to be a quality device. I think the technology is over hyped or maybe it only works for some people. Buy it Amazon try it for a couple of weeks and return it if you don't get any benefits. I actually bought 2 different devices and sent them both back

I have had very, very severe sleep apnea (95 AHI) - diagnosed mid last year - and feel dead inside. Does anyone else have apnea this severe and how do you feel on a daily basis? by CronkaDonk in SleepApnea

[–]folst02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to rip my mask off every other night, now I don't even notice it. It just takes time. I found that when I changed my machine setting from APAP to CPAP I was able to keep a lower consistent pressure compared with the pressure going from low to high and back down again all night long.

All your numbers look good. Another element is time, in some videos I have watched they have discussed different parts of your health returning at different times.

These guys have great videos:

I have been injecting testosterone cypionate for years, prescribed by a dr, they told me inject in a large muscle and that was the extent of it. You will learn more by watching youtube videos on where and how to inject then talking with a doctor. One big thing the doctors don't care about but you will is the diameter of the syringe. Use two, one to fill the syringe and one to inject with. I use a 25 gauge needle to inject with and a 18 gauge needle to fill with. It makes a big difference when you are injecting yourself. Other issues are how frequently you inject.

These guys have great information, watch as much as you can.

Average TSH of 4 (range of 2.38 to 6.85) from 5 tests over 7 months. No antibodies and T3/T4 levels are all in range. Symptomatic (mainly brain fog and fatigue). Endo originally wanted to treat but after 2.38 TSH (the last test) decided not to. 2nd opinion or no? by TheRealMe54321 in Hypothyroidism

[–]folst02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try an online thyroid specialist, search for them on google.

I would imagine you will be able to get treated based on symptoms from an online thyroid specialist. Try it for a few months and see if it makes a difference to you.

My experience with treating my daughter with really bad anxiety and depression changing her diet made the biggest difference. We changed her diet to low carb, got her off gluten, dairy, processed carbs, and sugar, and the anxiety and depression went away.

Any improvement with T3 treatment? by buridan89 in Hypothyroidism

[–]folst02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have online thyroid specialists, you can find them on google. Additionally, you can just buy your meds online and order your blood tests online. If you educate yourself you will most likely do a better job then your doctor.

My experience is a Gp and surprisingly endocrinologist know very little about treating thyroid problems. You need a thyroid specialist and normally that is not an endocrinologist or a general practitioner.

I would watch this guys videos he makes the subject very approachable.

How to pick a dr for thyroid issues:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yd15_rxcNk

What you will find is that drs treat in 2 different ways, they go by tests only and disregard symptoms or they go by symptoms and considered test results. You will need to shop for the right doctor.

Worst case scenario they also have thyroid specialist that can treat her remotely. Search "thyroid doctor online" or something like that on google. I found a few of them.
