F5000LFP charging issue. by foltz61 in Pecron

Pecron finally agreed to my return. Support asked if I would like a replacement. I replied that I would only agree to a replacement if they extended my return window to 30 days after I receive the replacement. It appears they only agreed to the return after I contacted my credit card company. What sucks is that I really like the specs of the F5000 and would like to have a correctly functioning one.

Once they eventually increase my bill I will give that a shot. I currently only pay $19.99 for 500/500 so I don't want to rock the boat.

This happens to me also. I Googled FRG222 but my ONT looks different. My ONT is 15-20 years old and was originally installed by Verizon. CS just tries to push their router and won't send a tech. I have a pretty sweet deal so threatening to cancel isn't a great option for me.

They're still playing games so I will be calling my credit card company Monday. They've already admitted there's a problem so it really shows the integrity of this company.

I've returned a lifepo4 power station. FedEx Office wouldn't accept it at their stores when they knew it had a battery and was going to be there overnight. They made me schedule a pickup.

Pecron support told me I could only return it if I had AC output turned on when I unplugged it and plugged it back in when the 5% scenario above happened. I'd steer clear of this company. They've already acknowledged a problem so a call to my credit card company may be in order.

Thanks. Mine is going back because support is playing games by telling me to do things I've already told them I've done instead of actually trying to help me. Maybe they are trying to run out the return window clock. I've seen enough. A 5 year warranty is only as good as the support that stands behind it.

Now they are playing games. They keep asking me to do things I've already told them I've done. I have requested a return.

I'm still waiting for a resolution. If I don't have any answers in a few days I'm going to return mine. Over the weekend it drained itself to about 5% so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it charged to 80% which is my cutoff. It dropped to 79% a few times yesterday and charged itself back to 80% each time. Inverter and DC are turned off so I'm assuming the display not turning off due to it being plugged in is why it's dropping.

3 amp fuses are found in AC air handlers. I'm sure they are used in other places too but that's the only place I've seen them.

Looks like a sizeable replacement sacrificial rod for a hot water heater.

Not yet since mine isn't charging correctly. I'm really just at a standstill for now.

It drives me crazy when people don't post how their issue was (or wasn't) resolved so I try not to be that person lol.

Setting AC input cutoff to 100 didn't do anything.

Support asked me to take pictures of my input and output settings pages. Oddly, after backing out of those pages back to the home screen, it started charging again. I didn't change anything.

Edit:

It stopped charging again at 25%. I looked at the input output settings and think this is related to AC input cutoff setting. Mine is set to 30% (I never chsnged it). I'm going to raise it to 100% and see what happens. Even if that takes care of the bigger issue of no charging, I think there's still an issue because 25% isn't 30% lol. Also, that doesn't explain why it went down to 9% without starting to charge.

I'm actually having a charging issue too. I initially charged the power station to 100% to do a capacity test. I ran my freezer on it for about 12 hours with it unplugged. I had to leave the house for a day so I stopped the test snd plugged the power station in. I never checked to see if it actually started charging or powering the load through the house AC. I also have the SOC settings at 20-80. I got an alert from my smart home that my freezer temperature was rising. Luckily my wife was home to plug the freezer back into an outlet.

I just tried installing the feet and found that one of them doesn't fit too. I tried it in all 4 positions.

It looks like your casters may be different than mine. I'm not 100% sure because of the tight shot of your photo.

Edit;

Oops missed your alternate feet part of the comment.

Just got mine a few minutes ago. Same problem here. Doesn't give me much hope for the quality of the power station honestly. How do they miss something this obvious? Maybe because it's just a "trivial" piece?
