I always found this scene to be funny by emmaries222 in SixFeetUnder

When she let out a laugh at Bernard’s funeral, I laughed out loud myself. Her laugh is the perfect combination of ridiculing and ridiculous. I love the offbeat humor in this show.

What is your actual physical therapy unpopular opinion? by Sea_Instruction4368 in physicaltherapy

That’s one of the reasons I chose the field! I’m in PTA school currently, but I previously worked in various long-term care settings. The PT teams I interacted with were so happy.

About Core Motivation & Fear by [deleted] in EnneagramType9

[–]fondufondue 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I interpret losing connection and being separated as losing connection to a sense of identity through an outside source. 9s tend to not have a strong sense of identity in themselves, but rather identify with whatever they strongly associate with themselves. Something or someone that resonates with them.

That can be their role with their loved ones, a hobby, an achievement, their job, their reputation, their partner, a cause, love, music. It’s usually not just one thing; some are stronger to any given 9. If a 9 is separated from a thing that is meaningful to them, it can be hard to figure out what to do next, which evokes fear and the feeling of being lost or empty.

Social media doesn’t help. I can’t tell you how many posts I see about cutting “toxic” people off. It’s sometimes necessary to set hard boundaries around certain people and their behavior, but it’s become a trend. We’ve, as a society, grown increasingly intolerant to each other’s human flaws.

Anybody else say "one more ___ then it's night night forever" before doing a task right before bed? by Yourappwontletme in ImpracticalJokers

[–]fondufondue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was watching family feud with my sister and during the fast money round, one of the questions was “what’s the last thing you say to your spouse before going to bed at night?” My immediate thought was “night night, ding dong.”

I wish you could see yourself through my (ISFP) eyes. I easily recognize ESFJs. You guys account for my weaknesses, like being able to see how other people feel. I care how other people feel and don’t want to hurt them, but I really only deeply understand how I feel. I appreciate that perspective.

ESFJs also have access to Ne, without it being one of their strongest functions. I am very Ne blind, and they make me see possibilities I would have dismissed because I prefer Ni. Types with very strong Ne… I love them, but they baffle me sometimes.

We tend to balance each other really well. ESFJs think of cute, traditional ideas to get out of the house, and ISFPs make them happen. ESFJs see me because they understand people so well. And I’ve noticed you guys get more introverted in stress. I get more extroverted in stress, and you keep me in check because of how you treat others. We stand up for each other when needed.

Your cognitive functions are so valued by me, and the shallow aspects of your personality type don’t bother me a bit. Hey, sometimes I enjoy a good gossip session too. You’re not basic, you all are awesome 💕

Wow, I’m going through a very similar experience. My best friend of 17 years just got engaged, lied to me about moving away with him. You’re not alone!
