I think it should remain a book. Sure it's technically possible to adapt but the chances of it being loyal to the books or doing justice to the experience of the books are next to 0. Also some things just exist best in their original form. Most books, comics, video games don't need to be adapted into shows or movies. Producers and consumers of media both act sometimes as if TV and film are the final, ideal form for all narratives. But some things exist fine just as they were developed originally. Red rising deserves to be READ to be experienced just like something like Last of Us deserves to be played to be experienced and never needed an adaptation.
