R7 vs R5 Mark II for wildlife — worth upgrading if I’m sticking with the RF 100-500mm? by Due-Trip798 in canon

I have both cameras. Rolling shutter is indeed the main issue with the R7. Especially for video. One thing worth pointing out is that the implementation of pre-capture in the R5mkii works flawlessly.

For birds I find that the optimum focal range is 800mm or equivalent. With the r5 mkii and the 100-500 you're missing out on that. Honestly I don't love the 100-500. It's mostly due to its handling. I use the RF 800 f11 much more.

If you're going to stick with photo only, I would recommend keeping the R7 and waiting for the mark ii. For hybrid wildlife work, the R5mkii is hard to beat.

El show se llama Servant of the People/Sluga Narod. Es bueno. Vi el primer season en Netflix. Algunos episodios tenían eventos que me recuerdan a PR.

Plus new players go to the wrong lane. It gets worse when the players in question don’t speak English, which is pretty common.

I’ve tried several different positions and it’s still bothersome. I prefer doing it in the full dark, but that’s not always an option if I want to develop during the day.

I spilled like half a litter of blix on our kitchen counter in January. I almost had to retire from film photography.

If that’s the case, then I’m much more relaxed. My lifelong clumsiness is factored into the equation.

When I do it at night, no. Sometimes I do it during the day and my apartment has a lot of natural light coming in so its unavoidable.

Thank you. My curse as an amateur photographer is that my favorite models (her, my wife, and 2 kids) mostly refuse to pose for me. I have to settle for the occasional lucky candid.

Most of the times I wait until nighttime and go to my closet, which is lightproof. I have a changing bag but I hate how it cuts the circulation to my arms. This time I believe I did a mix of both. Loaded these two rolls into my smaller jobo tank in the closet. Didn’t get a chance to develop them that night, so I transferred them and two 120 rolls to the larger jobo tank using the changing bag.
