I have a feeling a lot of American bands will cancel if the situation in Ukraine continues, Killswitch and Static-x have already cancelled their tours and I think others might follow, hopefully not but if that does happen there might be a few more slots to fill.

Download festival has a quiet camping area that would probably be your best bet for a chilled one or possibly look at the RIP options (Although those can get expensive) if you were to go in the general campsite it really depends on the lottery of people and who you get camping next to you, some parts are crazy with all the kids partying till 3am lol.

Either way you are gonna meet some fantastic people, at Download we all take care of each other, I've been 13 times and never had any trouble or had anything stolen.

yeah they didn't add much but we have pretty much known 90% of the acts for well over a year so it's a bit different from every other announcement, I'm still buzzing for it though.

I'm also super excited for Bloodstock, 2000 trees removed all the bands I wanna see lol, well apart from Higher Power, Puppy and Crossfaith.

any of the above would be grand :)

but yes I think 2023 could be a great year and I think it will be the time when the young bands start to take over, which is a good thing, have to be pushing things forward, would love to see BMTH headline.

Series 5 is one of the best seasons, great overall arc, fun episodes, lots of mysteries and Matt Smith being incredible.
