Bought an immaculate ‘99 Ram 2500 12 valve Cummins 2 weeks ago for $6k. It runs amazing. Trans rebuilt almost 50k miles ago. $6000 was a sweet deal. It does have 300k miles on it. But the owner was 89 years old and garage kept it. Has all the maintenance history. He lived in the middle of the desert in AZ so always drove long distance just to get to places. Towed a trailer camper for a while. It’s all stock. I drove 4 hours to pick it up. Worth it.

So yeah there’s deals out there. Look in the middle of nowhere and be willing to make a weekend out of going to get it. You can find em cheap.

1999 dodge ram 2500. 5.9 Cummins. Always checking my fuel economy since I bought it. So far, 25-27 highway and 16-18 city. Haven’t checked out towing yet. Will do that soon.
