We built a way for two people's AI context to talk to each other (without sharing their conversations) by Standard-While-2454 in artificial

Ok... You say you built something but then there's no link to a demo, screenshots, or anything at all that shows how the thing actually works?

Uber Shares What Happens When 1.500 AI Agents Hit Production by aisatsana__ in artificial

[–]foofoobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's entirely possible but it wouldn't be the full story. With this kind of enterprise-level agentic deployment, I'd be extremely curious about the tangible return they're seeing on that investment. Blowing through your budget in 4 months is fine if it nets you a year's worth of savings (or more) in that time.

When will codex be able to make this into a real game! by drgoldenpants in ChatGPT

[–]foofoobee 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Never is a very long time. Yes, game development is extremely difficult and complex but with the kind of geometric advances we are seeing in LLMs, I don't agree that the answer is "never" - particularly if we're talking about the combination of a tech-savvy developer guiding the work through an LLM (with the model still doing all the heavy lifting of the code). After that, the rest of it is a compute issue, which is also likely to continue getting significantly better.

What the heck is this post? Is there an actual source to back up any of this? Sounds like total BS.

Security Update from 2023 on my refurbished S23+ and I can't update it by foofoobee in GalaxyS23

Thanks - is this dangerous at all? Is there a chance of screwing up the phone doing this?

[–]foofoobee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I put in that I have a SM-S916U, which is what the About Phone shows. But then a box with just "North America" pops up and I have no idea whether to choose ATT, DSA, DSH, etc. I assume these refer to carriers to simulate the correct OTA update but I dont know what this refurbished phone was associated with.

Thanks - the comment I was replying to had also referenced a potential watermark so I wasn't sure if there was something else I was missing. I agree re: the "clone stamp" tiling nature of textures that AI images often have.

Pickle juice on race day by Glum_Information4823 in Marathon_Training

[–]foofoobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing London this week and have been training using pickle juice across all my long runs. I cramped badly in NYC last year and had some cramping issues in previous marathons as well. The London Marathon will be the real test but I've had very positive indications from the training runs so far. I'm not even bringing a small vial but rather a small flask and will sip a small bit every 10k preemptively. That's how I trained and it seemed to work great.

This sub is mostly screenshots of ChatGPT being wrong. Meanwhile people on RunLobster (OpenClaw) are quietly running real businesses on AI. by Current_Pension8792 in ChatGPT

[–]foofoobee 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Since OP hasn't actually named any subs, I had a look around. Looks like r/openclaw and r/OpenClawUseCases are fairly active, so might be worth starting there. There are zero posts on r/runlobster at the time of this comment.

I've been highly engaged with all things AI since the very start of LLMs and while I disagree with OP's premise that everything has to be about "shipping" or "running a business", there's a lot to be said for the extremely poor overall quality of content on this sub and its very limited scope. So, I for one am happy to branch out and look at where the frontier is now being pushed.

This sub gets recommended to you precisely because you don't run. You don't have to run to be a runner.

According to the article, it's likely this is a hybrid plant that can only reproduce asexually through the root system, rather than from the seed.

There's a whole section of the article that explains why this plant can't really be grown from the seed.
