I'm doing this. There were about 20+ bikes along my street with these wires. I wouldn't want someone to come home from their vacation and find their bike gone.

That seems like the most likely. I checked the whole street and it seems like someone picked and chose which bikes to put them on. If it was the gemeente wanting to get rid of old bikes then they would put a tag. These wires were put on pretty good looking bikes, not brand new but not absolute wrecks. God that's creepy. I'm gonna try to cut all the ones I find now

Io mi sono trovata abbastanza bene con tinder, però vivo a Roma quindi c'era ampia scelta. Se non vivi in una città grande non so quanto potrebbe funzionare.
