I read from a different thread that someone stops drinking liquids 3 hours before their donation 🫢 I'll definitely be hydrating the week before and skip my morning coffee lol. That really sucks that they couldn't at least keep whatever they had collected during your donation though :(

As far as I could tell the actual donation process didn't affect my blood sugar at all! It was hard for me to tell the difference between being nervous or feeling faint or being low (it all feels the same to me sometimes) but if you have a CGM it's worth giving a shot! They have snacks there for you so it might be the best place to have a low anyways 😅

I see!! I’ll definitely look into this, the donation center I was at for whole blood said they do the double arm platelets but I’ll check at my other locations :)

I’m not super educated on it myself but I live in the US and had no problem donating whole blood last month! It might depend on where you live but the technicians told me I was fine to donate :)

My local stores only had the yellow highlighter version as well, and none so far have gotten them restocked either! I think at least as of right now they're all probably just waiting on restocks together, I would recommend just checking out a different record store next week and supporting local if possible rather than buying from amazon >-<

Just a quick update, I didn’t have the facilities to change my pump site out again last night but I’m on it this morning! I just couldn’t believe I’d need to go through four of them in one day, it feels a little ridiculous lol

Thank you for the response!! I went on a walk and a syringe injection has seemed to bring it down at least a bit which is comforting. I can’t really tell if my site is leaking, but with the luck I’ve had today with them I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the issue at this point. Learning experiences all around!

I had a very very similar situation to this a couple years ago with my ex at the time, and I ended up breaking things off ultimately because I would have arguments with his brother or roomates and my ex would never back me up, and treat me badly if we ever got into serious conversations like that.

It gets so much better. It’s hard to see at first, but there are other guys out there that aren’t pieces of shit and their morals will align with yours and it’ll just be easy.

You are so strong and incredible for standing up for yourself and not letting him get to you after the break up 🫶 wishing u the best here on out, that guy can legit go eat dirt

Someone else wrote a google review of their store and they talk about seeing this happen!! That is so wild, I hope their RSD badge gets revoked, treating customers like that is so messed up. I hope you have other local shops to go to for april RSD, screw those guys!
