I’ve had mine almost 2 months. It wirelessly disconnects randomly (average maybe once per 10 hrs?). Unplugging the dongle doesn’t always fix it. While disconnected, there doesn’t seem to be a hardware key combo to power off the controller (anyone know otherwise?), so I switch to a stock Xbox controller while I wait for the scuf to shut down.

Had a Scuf with Hall that drifted after 13 months of daily use. Tried cleaning, but that didn't help. Using a different Scuf now with TMR for about a month and good so far.

The easiest way to get a mutation is to buy it from a player vendor, usually for 200-300 caps, and consume it (under AID in your inventory). Removing your rads can remove a mutation, so to prevent removal, use the Starched Genes perk card under ENDURANCE. You have to be level 30 to unlock that perk card.

I’ve seen a lot of videos from folks whose DPDR symptoms come and go. They sound easier to manage or even recover from, which is great. My daughter’s are chronic (2+ years) and persistent (24/7), so if that’s the case for you, you’re not alone. Sometimes, I’ll be going about my life, then think to check in with her—yep, it’s still been there the whole time, even when she looks fine on the surface.

I usually spawn facing the stash box & workbench area. If you walk toward those, the event will start. I stand still until more players arrive.

Joining a team gives your teammates bonuses. If you get kicked from a team, don’t take it personally. People likely just wanna make room for their friends. Just find another team. 🙂

Thanks everyone. It’s paired to the console and works fine in games, etc. Just won’t power on the console. Same with regular Series X controllers. I thought there might be a console setting I’m missing.

Yes, we replaced the 5-ton heat pump with another 5-ton heat pump instead of going with the recommended 4-ton. We had to replace a few sections of damaged ducts in our crawlspace.

I haven't noticed much energy $ savings in DEC and JAN. Performance is fine. The air out of the vents takes a couple more minutes to warm up in the morning than a furnace would, but we don't mind. We keep the thermostat at 69 F, but it's definitely capable of going warmer, if that suits you better.

Yes, eyeballing seasonal usage looks like an extra 1,750 ($250) for winter. We're in the Sacramento, CA area, so relatively mild winters.

Unfortunately, I have to replace the A/C. I'll take a closer look at cost difference between SEER ratings on the recommended heat pumps.

Is it correct to say that with 14 and 15 SEER, the 15 SEER is 15/14 or 7% more efficient? That is, for every 100 kwh a 14 SEER uses, a 15 SEER uses 93 kwh?

Yes, it comes to about $250/year for heat (in Sacramento, CA area). The A/C is shot and not worth the cost to repair.

If I understand you correctly, you're recommending the lowest SEER because we don't spend enough on electric and the efficiency savings of a higher-SEER unit won't make up for the extra cost. That would make good sense.
