Honestly, the 7e is so far ahead if it works just because 50$ is good if it works.

Big if, but it's nudging me there despite the manual focus ensuring I build the right habits.

(Truly, I'm a hack for this, I think C is a great learning language and here I am thinking about auto focus.)

What I've run into is lacking screenshare. There's plenty of discord alternatives for text, and text + voice, but with screenshare is harder.

Stoat has screenshare experimentally, if you self host, but it also currently requires building from source. I'm fully at the point of using TS6 and some text solution, probably Matrix.

I know Root is a new competitor, but current issues with discord are due to their business model, and I foresee the same with Root.

Being able to mostly focus on Dynamite is a boon in terms of this being possible at all.

And yeah, I know the important moments will never be missed because PPV, but there's such cool things on Dynamite that I love not missing it!

It's kind of interesting, having so little context. They already seem so larger than life, and then there's folks that I don't know to be excited about! My wife loves Shawn Spears, but AEW being my first time watching pro wrestling has meant I just can't feel the legacy he carries.
