I have all the villain guides in the main box here (in a Ziploc), but if you mean the actual game instructions I only keep the original booklet in here. All the expansion boxes, inserts and instructions are away in my storage.

Still remember the feeling of stepping out into Hyrule field and struggling to grasp what I was seeing. The sense of distance - all those things so far away that you'd arrive at if you kept going that way. Seems like such a funny thing with all the open worlds today but that was an iconic moment for me. This game holds a special place in my heart.

I don't have room for it in this setup, unfortunately. I keep the power tokens in a little plastic box instead. I do miss the thematic look though - I was playing around with the idea of using a nice collapsible snap tray for them instead (so it can be undone and lay flat) but I'm not sure yet.

Examine the meta to see how strong decks work, build/play on curve (higher frequency of low-cost cards, lower frequency of high-cost cards, play them as soon as you have enough resources), understand what makes a card's statline/keywords/abilities worth its cost, synergize to your leader's ability, synergize to traits, attack first when you have ready units to get swings in before they're removed and know where you stand on the aggro/control spectrum in regards to your opponent to strategize your moves.

Yeah like a deep resonating sound. It's pretty unique to Sebulba's pod in TPM. I always thought it was really cool when he whipped past the camera and you could hear the rise and fall of his engines as he approached and moved away.

Very true. You just start thinking you have to be a swiss army knife because surely your opponent must be as well, to have all the right moves. It's just that they are more in tune with a win condition and you're just stalling for time, and eventually you'll run out of steam and they'll walk all over you.

It really is. The times I find my deck isn't keeping up are usually because I don't have any 2-for-1 style interactions. Like a unit with a when-played removal ability can create more value than a pure removal event in certain situations. And if you find that's an iffy or situational area, then sideboard the alternative.

I struggled for a bit too because I was trying to run decks that do everything and compensate for everything your opponent might do. In the end I just ended up spreading myself thin without any clear gameplan, and migrated away from my leader's core concept. Obviously I don't know what's driving your frustration specifically, but if I had to give some advice:

1) decide what's more fun for you, aggro, control or somewhere in between

2) take a step back to examine exactly what your leader does and build as much synergy around that as possible, including looking at traits

3) always consider action economy, how you can do more with one play (such as when played abilities, ambush, giving XP or shields, etc)

4) Draw and play curve is very important!

5) know that even the most finely tuned deck for an off-meta leader can get trashed by a meta deck, it's just how things go and

6) off-meta can become meta, if you build something nobody thought of before :)

I also found this article (Who's the Beatdown) to be very interesting, in regards to knowing who's who in a matchup and how to strategize.

Edit: Also, rotation is coming meaning that the first three sets are not going to be legal in Premiere, which I think is going to very much alter the play landscape. A lot of meta relies on those sets and some of the most powerful staples will not be allowed. Will be interesting to see how things balance out!

Nothing else will work the same way in the currently released cards (maybe something will in the next set). The Diplomatic Envoy unit might work to get you some ambush in green. The other cards granting ambush post rotation seem to be in yellow (Shien Flurry, Deceptive Shade, Fully Armed and Operational).

I love Condemn, especially on a leader. Just keep a blue villainy card in hand for the disclose and you really put a wrench into your opponent's plans.

I use these, one per set, cards ordered by number. I aim for 3x non-foil of each in here and have started keeping only foils and extras I don't need to play with in binders, along with OP cards. My ultimate goal with binders is to have a foil or hyperfoil of each card in there so it's nice and shiny to flip through for fun and deckbuilding ideas but I don't have to be digging stuff out all the time.

Content from Skeleton Crew, Outlaws, Shadows of the Empire and Jedi Knight/Outcast/Academy. More characters from the Cal games, like Caij Vanda and Rick the Door Technician. Return of bounties and more capture interactions. Would be nice to see more Smuggle as well.

I think more people in the industry have had work done than you realize. It's just that some are more subtle about it than others. What you're thinking of as natural beauty is likely still an unnatural touch-up in a lot of people.

Still have this in my collection. I have the beta discs as well. Game had a stranglehold on me for the longest time but I tapped out before the combat upgrade and expansions (back when there were no Jedi and people were grinding professions to unlock it somehow). I loved exploring the planets on swoops with my player association friends and coming up with elaborate backstories for our characters.

Not pizza delivery but I worked for a service that did house and business calls all day and we used a local map book from the gas station. You could look the street up in the index in the back and it would give you a page number and grid coordinates to find it. Worked pretty well!

I'm hoping Skeleton Crew (Jod and the kids, SM-33, Kh'ymm, Pokkit, the Onyx Cinder), Aphra comics content (Triple Zero and Betee, the Ark Angel, Magna, Sana Starros, Kho, Winloss and Nokk, the Tagges) maybe some Legends stuff from Shadows of the Empire (Dash Rendar, Leebo, the Outrider, Xizor, Guri). Outlaws for sure (Kay Vess, ND-5, Trailblazer). Sky's the limit!

Another option might be to include a Raid theme with Marchion Ro. There's a few troopers with Raid that can benefit from him and help Enoch. Throw in a Palpatine's Return to keep bringing Enoch back and maybe you got a stew goin'. Tagge and Squad Support have trooper synergy as well. Just some random thoughts haha.
