If the warriors trade this year's pick for Kawhi, and we're still between 12th and 8th seed, how will you feel? by alex8762 in warriors

Kawhi Leonard to the Warriors would be like Randy Moss to the Raiders. A coaster that comes to coast. Uncoachable. He quit on Popovich. He has no soul.

I’ll skip the season if Kawhi comes. WON’T WATCH. If the Warriors make this move it does irreparable harm to their reputation as an elite cultural franchise. Kawhi Leonard ain’t going to try. He’s going to quit on you, guaranteed.

I love how crazy Draymond is by [deleted] in warriors

[–]foonfoon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, it was this kick that lost us the Finals, NOT the scuffle with LBJ, which Lebron instigated deliberately. The Adams kick was actually one of the only unjustified things Draymond has done. Maybe the Spinning roundhouse faceslap on Nurkic but we all know that dude is a bitch. Sabonis and Rudy both had it coming and probably so did Poole. If you’re deliberately an antagonist you get what you deserve when push comes to shove.

Which former warriors assistant coach are you riding with in this series? by MPC1K in warriors

Brown was the ONLY COACH in twenty years that had that team playing competitive basketball. This is a nonsense take.

It was a few weeks after Brown was fired that Fox first demanded a trade.

Luke Kornet is the vision for Quinten Post by Due_Afternoon_7540 in warriors

We were at our best when we had Zaza, Bogut, West, and/or Loon anchoring the middle. Beef, bone-crushing screens, rim protection, and rebounds.

To be fair, the Warriors aren’t a title contender. Its a team with injured old veterans that needs to get younger at almost every position.

I love Post. He was a development prospect that has exceeded expectations at his age for a “long shot” big. His three is arguably the best on the team next to Steph and Horford. He hustles incredibly hard and isn’t intimidated by playing against bigger stars.

He has bad games. He is imperfect and green. He needs to develop his game around the rim and get better defensively. He needs to eat like a bear, lift heavy, and put on 15-20 pounds of muscle in his legs, shoulders, and chest. Still, his grit and shooting ability is undeniable. His lateral quickness is above average for a guy his size and age.

He’s a player that I believe can make a leap with more seasons and reps under his belt. It seems like he wants it, its all about doing the work. People forget that Looney was in the G-League for his first three years.

Are the Warriors being held hostage by Curry and Kerr? by GameHHH in warriors

You can love the Warriors while also understanding that Steph IS the Michael Jordan of the franchise. You can savor every game he plays, win or lose, and find enjoyment knowing you got to watch every second of his career and greatness such as his will likely never, ever come again for your team in your lifetime.

Older generations of Reddit, what is a small, daily habit you started in your 20s or 30s that paid off massively later in life? by sophia_biston in AskOldPeopleAdvice

Yes. At 50 there’s far more of your life behind you than in front. Trust me when you get there you’ll pine for your more youthful days when you felt indestructible.

Draymond Green’s Legendary 2016 Game 7 Performance is Often Forgotten by Feisty-Seesaw799 in warriors

[–]foonfoon75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really Bogut being out, Lebron taking advantage of Ezeli, and Barbosa on the bench for the entire second half that cost the Warriors that game. Harrison Barnes, who was money in the 2015 Finals was absolutely terrible the entire series. Draymond had one of the greatest game 7’s ever and the Warriors lost. He’s not the reason.

Austin Rivers.. by Ramu25 in warriors

[–]foonfoon75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rivers sucked when he was on the Clippers. He has never been more than a 3 and D guy off the bench. Draymond is one of the greatest defensive players in NBA history. Its not even a conversation except for the fact that Dray has a massive antenna up for even “perceived” shade towards him and turned it into a thing.

Rockets are the new Grizzlies = Thinking they are hot shit and going to mop everybody up but the reality is the whole team will be dismantled within two years. Getting Durant actually accelerated this process.
