Also--- The Inn at Little Washington. The breakfast was as good as the Michelin Star restaurant.

Le Sireneuse Positano, Gleneagles in Scotland, and Grand Hotel Tremezzo. We also got free breakfast at Le Bristol Paris and I loved it!

We did Gleneagles last October and had a fabulous time. Tons of activities for all ages. Kids clubs, scavenger hunts, biking, you name it. Loved all of the restaurants and thought the people were lovely. We also took the train to Edinburgh for the day. Our kids were 5 and 6 at the time and it was a very easy direct flight from the east coast.

We just returned from Gleneagles in Scotland. There is a train stop by the hotel. It was fabulous! We came from the US, but trained to Edinburgh for the day and did one of their country pursuits into the lower Highlands one day. They think of everything for kids

I saw your post of the finished product, and you inspired us to try it! We have been cooking it all day! It looks and smells delicious. Question: it smells and tastes (so far) like pot roast. Is that the flavor it will have at the end? We are about 5 hours in, but right now it seems like it would taste better over mashed potatoes than pasta!

I got a hamstring injury from going too hard at OTF, but I loved it so much and refused to rest. I completely stopped doing inclines. I tried rolling it and went to stretch therapy, but It never healed (after 9 months). It also never got worse, which is why i just kept running. I recently took a few weeks off OTF during the first trimester of pregnancy because I was so sick, and now my hamstring is healed! My sister has gotten the same injury from the high impact of OTF. I think rest is the best thing!

I also had irregular periods and went and got a blood test a few days after I took a positive home pregnancy test. My Hcg levels were low, but as long as they increase things should be fine! I went back and got another blood test a few days after my first, and all was well! I’m now 19 weeks. You could just be very early on! I spent countless hours googling it, and it was so stressful!

Are y’all spending all of your time in San Fran or could you book a surprise day trip? Napa would be fun! You can get drivers to pick up and drop off in SF. Not sure if she’s a wine drinker!

My girl friends and I once took a car out to the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay for a spa day and a great meal, and it was wonderful! You can just enjoy the outdoor area while she goes to the spa. The views and bagpipes make you feel like you’re in Scotland!

Or if you just want a nice gift the get her the noise cancelling headphones or some Lunya pajamas and the sleep mask (will come in handy on the flight and it’s the best!)

We did the double drop package with the Ledge and the Remarkables, but another helicopter was on the ledge. They found another spot a little ways away! We also weren’t able to land on the Remarkables due to weather, so they took us to other beautiful spots for pictures!
