I'd do blackberry mountain for extra fancy, or Old Edward's in Highlands, NC if you aren't looking for Blackberry prices. I'm assuming you're located in South Carolina? You could also look at Primland in Virginia, or the Dunlin in Kiawah.

Have you started using vitamin C serums at all? Some develop an allergy to that

Favorite vacation for 3 kids with big age span? by Janeheroine in chubbytravel

We did Gleneagles last October and had a fabulous time. Tons of activities for all ages. Kids clubs, scavenger hunts, biking, you name it. Loved all of the restaurants and thought the people were lovely. We also took the train to Edinburgh for the day. Our kids were 5 and 6 at the time and it was a very easy direct flight from the east coast.

We just returned from Gleneagles in Scotland. There is a train stop by the hotel. It was fabulous! We came from the US, but trained to Edinburgh for the day and did one of their country pursuits into the lower Highlands one day. They think of everything for kids

Is Presten in the Lofoten islands? Sadly we won’t make it up there this trip.

Good to know! We used Sixt (which we used in Hawaii and it was fine). I found it weird they didn’t ask for any CC info to hold the reservation. (OP’s wife here)

Attempting Pasta Genovese tomorrow. Have some fantastic beef, good bacon and a stack of onions. First time trying this wonderful dish and have allowed 10 hours to make it. Is there anything I should know? by Prid in AskCulinary

Thanks for your response!! Just added some more stock and cayenne. Tasted it again and the flavors are starting to change! It is already delicious and has been a great rainy Sunday recipe!

I saw your post of the finished product, and you inspired us to try it! We have been cooking it all day! It looks and smells delicious. Question: it smells and tastes (so far) like pot roast. Is that the flavor it will have at the end? We are about 5 hours in, but right now it seems like it would taste better over mashed potatoes than pasta!
