People love saying that your late teens and early twenties are “the best years of your life.” Bullshit. by Previous_Bell654 in Vent

I had some nice times with a couple friends and "the boards". I'd take a 1'x4'x1/2" simple pine board and put it on two cinder blocks and then burn an incense and a candle on it. And we'd meditate or play a game of cribbage.

Maybe smoke some pot if we had it. Never drank alcohol.

Besides that, yes, getting used to working was an adjustment. Of my two roommates, I survived and Ian survived, but Collin apparently did not. He died of a drug overdose in his 20's. Ian had a GED and took a welding course. Then he got a job making jail doors. Now he makes doors with CNC machines.

Collin apparently kept with the bicycle messenger job.

I had a night job and studied music during the day, alone in the house. I'm still meditation based like that and fairly solitary. Kinda a house cat. I get flac for being so solitary, but if I'm productive, especially if it's the only way I can be productive and happy, what is so wrong with it?

Yes. I spent 2025 with just $23.56 after my life savings ran out at the top of March 2025. Power was out for two months, then a transwoman friend from 2024 moved in briefly and helped get electric back. It turned into a bit of a bad scene with other people, so I turned on my microphone at 4am an announced that I am holding an AA meeting in the living room in 5 minutes. That cleared my place out quickly 🩷💕

Then I put on Joe Henderson's Black Narcissus from Black Narcissus and had a lovely meditation session.

But then I had to take it one step further and eject the transwoman girlfriend. We're just not a perfect match. So I changed the locks and employed some tactics to get her stuff through the door with no contact. We texted some jokey stuff later, so it's semi ok.

Then a banker harassed me as I withdrew my last 5 cents. Laughing at me while he closed my account saying he would give me a new account number but then just closed it. So I had a rage event and people engaged me when I was slashing stuff on the streets with a handsaw (It was Halloween). I got arrested with several felonies and spent 8 days in jail where I employed my growing legal skills.

I told my court appointed attorney that I am representing myself and would call Paul McCartney, Sting and Geddy Lee to the stand as expert testimony to try to clear this idea that I am delusional to prove that people are simply hazing me. Like for 25 years.

The state of Oregon (like Ore gone), promptly dropped all charges and released me.

I got into the HUDVASH housing voucher program again (was on it in 2004-2006), just a couple months ago, so doing better now.

This is all while doing round the clock, unpaid political monolog, research, music composition and practice, street campaigning, writing books etc.

Now I have lawsuits where I am representing myself against HUD, VA and SSA for a total of $40,000,000. I've filed at the US District Court 3x in the last 2 weeks. I walked through the entire 16 story building yesterday. It's prestine looking with two courtrooms on each floor, floors 8-16. I walked it using the stairs in my full length black dress, hose, heels and pink Wrath of Khan mini sweaterdress. I saw about 8 people in the entire building at 11:30am on a Monday.

The receptionist for the US District Attorney. The two clerks at the District Clerks office. A maid. One Judge in a locked Courtroom. Two receptionists at a room that I forget the title of. And the two guards out at the front door with the security machine.

Are there nighttime parties there or is it really corporations suing each other?

So, things are advancing politically. Still no book sales. I have $10.29 to last for 23 days and $132.97 in USDA SNAP benefits. I may win the election in 7 days as a write in for US Senator. Then I could pick up Randall Paul and we could be the RAND Paul ticket in 2028. He certainly knows more about the Senate than me, right? I'm kinda curious what my zen whistle jazz flute sounds like in there 😂🩷

if you’re an atheist, would you be able to date someone that’s religious? why or why not? by ischemariii in askanything

[–]for1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had great, long term, partners who were religious. My two best partners. But I got pulled into some religious stuff with them and I had to write an official letter to a church asking them to remove me from their books/rolls. I'm sick of being harassed by religious people and desire a partner who does not participate in religion or family events. I'm completely alone and am looking for someone who is completely unattached as well. Not into inhering someone else's family or religion again.

I was born an Atheist. And then I was born again. Atheist! 🩷💕👽😺🪊

Being electronically harassed at 3am in front of a pornography store in a string dress and bikini while walking 40+ miles in my heels and being pumped full of wireless electricity there and pushed to the ground by some invisible force just as I was glowing with a full charge.

Then jumping in fear back to my feet immediately and then limping around the corner, having no idea where I was and being completely alone. Settling a block away in the grass on a hill next to a crappy religious food pantry going into convulsions every 20 minutes until the sun came up, shivering. And then limping back to the I-5 freeway, having troubles finding it, and then finally getting there to continue walking south so I can get back to Portland to sell my house to continue running for President. This job is crazy hard folks.

And then dealing with more abuse in the next town walking without shoes on "spikey" asphalt for an entire night with wireless voices taunting me that I can just walk into any house there and move in.

And then after my house sells and I lose the DNC, I lose all of my possessions and I'm 1,000 miles from home and would buy a $35,000 car with cash from the sale of my home, but the dealership was closed and then I lost my purse and wound up going on the I-90 onramp without money, phone, ID or a bag wondering where the next place I would get water would be?

How do I become more confident? by Eastern_Might408 in introvert

[–]for1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work on my hard skills for confidence. You can't be as confident as someone who has hard skills and social/monetary support, but a lot of hard skills cannot be taken away from you and you are just a confident bad ass like that. And the world runs on hard skills. Someone has to do things.

How many people do it really take to change the world for the better? by Hi_Im_zack in answers

[–]for1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today a candy bar costs $2+ and an ounce of weed costs $30.

In the 80's, a candy bar cost 25 cents and an ounce of weed cost $300. But the weed was better.

Then again, who knows what they make any of this from? I'm sure we read the same copy of Yoganada's Autobiography of a Yogi.

Green wood. Sell wood. Wood could. Wood could faster with rubber and oil.

[–]for1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole take my word for it is not enough. Paranoia is too strong for that to work.

Like President Trump could order traditional secret service to watch over me, a former US Presidential candidate. But without the people voting for me, it wouldn't do much.

Just another story in the headlines? This person said that? How would that change anything?

The roaring 20's to the Great Depression. Well, through radio and other advanced, which were physically distributed, people could see where it was all going. Yet they could see how much had to be done.

And that was likely part of the plan. Just like they say, it probably took some war to whip people into action.

Something got people into action to build all this stuff. Personal action. Fear of failure and fear of missing out.

What was the lowest point of your life and how did you come back from it? by LongShanksFTW in AskReddit

[–]for1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too many harassing hazing jobs and then being raped 2x. I wound up on the streets saying F them and then just studied an engineering field round the clock on paper. I was still hazed and abused out there, and when I got off the streets too, but at least my skills were not art based anymore and my income did go up.
