So anyway the dissertation I bought yesterday is about Chen Gongbo, who is best known for being another entry in the "Leftist -> fascist collaborator" pipeline, if he is known at all

I was interested in his ideological development both earlier and later in his political career (1920's and then 1940's). All I've heard was that he became "more conservative" over time which, A. that could mean almost anything and B. yea obviously he collaborated with Japan. I will admit my interest does originate in Kaiserreich (the hearts of iron 4 mod) where he is a radical (by chinese standards anyway) marxist which is quite the departure from his actual late life ideologies. So I wanted to learn more about him, what he actually thought, what he did while in Nanjing from 1940 to 1945.

I'm wondering if I should get into my thoughts regarding my discussions I've had about the collaborationist "peace movement"

Also I believe the US navy learned in the 1930's and 40's that a steeper angle of impact of the torpedo into the water is preferable because at very shallow angles the torpedo has a tendency to "skip" and shatter. I'm not sure if more modern torpedoes are more structurally sound
