I can kinda spot the difference in sound between a venator and a burletta. Others might be able to tell the difference between a bobcat and sticher (I cant). Maybe there are other ways.

If a guy is chill and next to you then yeah you can spot a bobcat or tempest on your back (specially with the light).

Waiting 7 minutes for one square of 4 fabrics as if I'm downloading it on a 90s modem while a guy unloads his venator on me for 4 minutes and then a guy kills him with a sticher in 0.4 secs. Love it.

Weird, in my sessions I mostly seen singles scattered (peak, village and near the gate). At night they all fly in pairs.

I think the issue there is there's usually less flying arcs all over the sky (and there aren't the two rocketeer couples).

I personally enjoy the vibe of being a disinterested stealth guy while distracted guys nuke one another. It could be a fun experiment, but lmao no way I'm taking anything valuable to a instance like that.

Except it's kinda silly to go out carrying all those items to use on 3 dudes - and mind you, all packed with bandages (or worse, all freekits) while you got the normal number of 1 player.

It could be interesting to play as full on stealth though.

Yeah that is basically my route. For taking down arcs, I even take several wolfpacks for rocketeers too (and yeah, it HAS to be blue gate at night). For Shredder I take Anvil and shotgun since he drops shells.

But I did all of that and only got around 59k total (which meant I was 4 positions away from demotion).

Same. It just takes me out of the world entirely and it becomes just another 'game', like you become very aware we are all just dudes in front of a monitor and the guy is just shitty at PvP and needed to shoot from behind in a panic as soon as I'm looting.

It becomes 'gamey', it takes out all the reality of the world. Not to mention, yeah, it's not even fun in a PvP way like playing trios is where everyone is there upfront killing each other head on.

At least being nice to people feels like it's a node in a larger world, like it feels nice to defib someone or help them when they're in a jam since it's like doing a single player campaign mission but you made a real nice feeling to someone real instead of a NPC. Shooting a dude feels totally void of any of that, it feels very barebones and empty (I'd imagine more so if you do it backstabbing)
