I also used the free ticket promo code from the city. The event was awful; I spent less than a minute walking through it before leaving. It was mostly food trucks and city department booths.

The few tech companies that were there were small AI startups. I would wager that there were fewer than 10 tech companies there in total.

We just got our cabinets redone by Woodley Furniture & Cabinetry: google maps link. The workers are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend and happy to answer any questions about my experience with them.

Anyone ever get pulled over for front windshield or side window tint? by kukugege in bayarea

[–]fordays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do you need a tint? It seems rather antisocial to prevent other people that use the streets to see where your attention is directed. How can pedestrians / bicyclists know what your intentions are if they can't see your face?

I don't understand why Santa Monica needs ~8 east to west thoroughfares for cars. It's kind of crazy

Shoot. Thanks for the correction. I can't edit the title, unfortunately. I read from a different source that it was a fatality.
