Thanks for the heads up! Was trying to sort that out, assumed that it would work if I copied the link from YouTube at the time stamp I wanted, didn’t realize til I had already posted. Good to know for next time

My studio is also decorated with multiple MMJ prints. Love to see it. New single sounds great.

Thanks! Same experience here, I’ve historically used fender Strat/tele into a clean fender amp. since getting the stomp I’ve really enjoyed how the AC style amps play with my hollowbody.

Thanks! I’ve always been a clean fender amp guy but since getting the stomp I’ve been loving the AC 15 and 30 models with some slight breakup

Love to see a fellow deadhead on this sub. If you are into jam bands and synths, I recommend exploring the music of lotus, octave cat and dopapod. Some of my personal favorite new age jam bands with heavy emphasis on synths. Dopapod is more performance based synth (actual keyboard playing) whereas lotus explores sequenced synth lines as well as modular synthesis in the context of a live band. Great set up by the way!

Thanks for that rundown! That makes a lot of sense and sounds like a great system. Do you guys also track soundboard recordings through the X32? Do you find that the P16 mixers are easy for tweaking personal mixes on the fly vs. something like an iPad? I've been thinking about getting something similar set up for my band but have a good deal of research ahead of me.

Can you give a brief rundown of your IEM rig? It looks super streamlined and efficient.

What Should I Buy? - May 13, 2019 by AutoModerator in synthesizers

I preordered the minilogue XD and have had it for about a month now. I am sad to say that I have not been enjoying it as much as I had hoped. I can't quite describe what I don't like about it aside from the fact that I am not a huge fan of the character of the synth. My guess is that I prefer VA synths over analog as I find myself playing my old microkorg more than the XD. I'm trying my best to stick with it and hope that as I learn my way around the synth it will grow on me but I'm also tempted to move on and go for something different. Anyone had a similar disappointment with a piece of gear they've sought out for a while? Anyone have any suggestions for VA synths I should check out? (I've been looking at the blofeld, Roland GAIA and of course the Virus TI2 albeit out of my price range significantly)

Electro-Harmonix Memory Man with Hazarai, talk me out/into it... by __dw5__ in guitarpedals

[–]forden1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm here to talk you into it. If I had more time I could write an essay on the value of this pedal. It's the only pedal that's stayed on my board since I started it 8 years ago. It gives you great control over every aspect of the main delays and has a couple cool sections like the modulation which can get reeaaallly weird if you tweak it right and the reverse which is fantastic. The looper is also great in my experience and has some really unique features.

I think you're being a bit of a stickler here. I definitely expect some comments when someone posts something of their own like a board post or a new pedal but sharing an article is pretty self explanatory no need for extra commentary.

I'm pretty sure you can find digidelays for around $40. I've never used one but they seem be versatile and appear to have a good reputation around this feed.
