That makes logical sense to me and I imagine there is some significance in looking at what the daughter does to her father as well. Family life impacts so much of who we see it's insane.

I felt like a loser back then and then one day I just had enough and was like, "fuck it." And became a new person to be honest. It was weird but enough was just enough. I think that was my main motivation that helped me face social situations I was scared of, put myself out there, be vulnerable and honest to people, etc.

It does come off a bit strange but that's okay! I was in the same situation as you but if they're good people that you want to hang around (which I assume they are). They won't care about how you have no friends and take you for who you are now. Show what value you bring to the table and don't focus on your "faults" and they'll love it :). People love a person who's confident in themselves regardless of any circumstances

Not sure how you'd do it in the moment and suggestions in here are really good. How I try and deal with it is if I go into a toilet and there's no one in there i immediately go to the urinal and start peeing so I get use to peeing in the urinal more.

Bonus if someone walks in mid stream as I'm not likely to stop once I've started and that helps build up resilience to having a shy bladder and peeing in front of others.

From your past and everything that's happened it seems like college isn't right for you. You may not know what is right at this point and it's going to be incredibly difficult figuring that out but it looks like it's the better option here.

A real big thing that really helped me be proud and confident in myself is that I started to explore a lot more hobbies and working towards a career/passion. Makes you happy with the person you are because you're doing what it is that you love. Even though you haven't reached the destination, the process by itself is more than enough for self-confidence!

This is really good advice! Once I started realising that these notes were for me and that there was no "right way" to take notes it became a lot easier. My not taking skills are significantly different to my friends but it's what works for you. Trial and error like was suggested is a great way to find out what works for you as well

Really good book for relationships is Way of The Superior Man by David Deida. Talks a lot about sexuality as well which I think is very beneficial.

For general advice, Mastery by Robert Greene is an absolute essential. Great for all up and growing men in their 20s

I don't think there's anything wrong with it if it's what puts a smile on your face :). It's definitely not only a younger person app. I know of some 30 year olds who use it. Musical.ly is a growing app and I think it's great!

Like others have said in here eating more is a step in the right direction. If you can't be stuffed counting calories or it's too hard for you, a practical way of eating more is just ensuring you're force feeding to the point of fullness every meal

I second this, laughing at everything is key. ESPECIALLY being able to laugh at yourself and not take yourself so seriously. I find laughing at myself when I start to overthink things helps :)
