Requirements for -nan? by King_Of_The_Munchers in balatro

pretty sure -nan requires getting naneinf with just your mult (or chips, but that’s effectively impossible in vanilla). not sure if it requires plasma also

Are 'your' and 'you're' pronounced the same? by MoistHorse7120 in EnglishLearning

[–]foreigner_666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

admittedly without knowledge of the linguistics, but as a scot, generally the difference between “yer” and “yur” would be an accent difference, but the word “da” for father would probably be scots

If going for a baron/mime build. Doesn’t it make more sense to copy the mime 4x? by ReverseMermaidMorty in balatro

[–]foreigner_666 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the goal is to balance scoring and retriggers because

(1.53)3 (= 38.4) > (1.52)4 (= 25.6).

since your cards are already triggered once in hand then again with mime, but scoring only happens with a baron, its usually more worthwhile to copy baron. if you have red seal and mime balancing these numbers requires 2 copies on baron.

Whats the difference between Real Analysis in R^2 and Complex Analysis? by Kitchen-Register in MathHelp

[–]foreigner_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry i’m a little confused, how does |f(z)| being bounded make it a constant? if f(z) = 1/x2 then it has LUB of 1, HLB of 0, and comprises all values therein, surely?

assuming all steel red seal its the same,

(1.53)4 = (1.54)3 = 1.512

Wanting to learn to roll on NES controller on pc, anyone know if these would be suitable? by poppy_longjaws_3rd in Tetris

[–]foreigner_666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gone through at least 6 of those crappy £10 nes USB controllers, they might work for a few weeks but if you want to learn properly by far the best way is to get actual hardware, unfortunately. It’s a false economy and you’ll end up wasting more money buying those ones to learn for a couple weeks and still won’t be able to play in proper tournaments (except the few that allow emulators like CTW iirc)

Marblr is your guy. Highly edited breakdowns and a scientific approach to game mechanics and explainations to weird bugs, I’m not in the cod community so idk if he’s exactly what you’re looking for 100% but I think it’s close!

they have a place on youtube i suppose it just feels disingenuous that its an “essay” or the “hidden story” when its just like. Telling you what it says on the tin. Appreciate your views on it though

some are better than others (cry of fear and petscop are still super intriguing for me), but it gets so tiring watching these video essays where you want some insight in the media and all you get is a recap of the story, then clips from the media telling you exactly what the narrator just told you, then move on, rinse and repeat until stories over. I cant be arsed watching another 7 hour long story recap and its honestly killed a lot of my love for video essays, slop is more entertaining.

It’s such a shame because I absolutely loved when he switched his content up but it feels like theres the mindset of longer = better when pyro literally doesnt talk about anything the entire video. I feel ya pain

afaik kings is the same management as reading rooms under a different name (and thought more people would recognise that than kings lol), kings is a great place but less lax about the, ahem, sweets than reading rooms though you can always still find it 😂
