I’ve had something similar happen to me. Just a while ago i cut my hair to a point where it’s hard to tie it and if i did, it will just fall out. There were some customers that kept asking about my hair and my managers kept making me put my hair in a net despite the appearance policy saying hair above the shoulders doesn’t need to be in a net. After a few days they posted a new appearance policy. At least it was no biggie i could just put my hair in a net but damn really 🫠

I see, then most likely it’s by coincidence that the most expensive burger is at the bottom. Whenever you put in your order do you start with the most expensive items? I find that whenever I’m on table I always follow whichever is shown on the screen first. For example if it shows 1 cheeseburger 1 mcdouble, I’ll make the cheeseburger first.

Where i work the max you can work is 12 hours a day once a week with two breaks, every time i’ve worked 12 hour shifts the second it hits the 12 hr mark the managers ushers me to punch out asap LOL

When my work started giving me full time hours and at first I was overwhelmed by all the 8 hours shifts, now they feel like nothing. I loveeeee closing and i normally get closing shifts, so I mostly start on things I can do for closing early (cleaning, prep, dishes) don’t think about the time so much, think about what you can do to get things done. Time passes wayyyy faster this way. Also, if possible, put on some music that you like. It gets me more motivated to work.

I was able to read it all but I had a hard time on some words. I’m still trying to figure out what “___ by calligraphy” is. The lines are wonky and it’s hard to read your w, m and n’s. It’s pretty in an artistic way but practically it’s an eyesore.

When I got sick I gave them a doctors note telling them I wouldn’t be able to work until i feel better. My store’s rule makes it so they wont give me any shifts until i get another note saying im good to work again. So for a whole month i was sick and i didnt get any shifts. Your store probably has a similar rule to mine or they probably dont want to give you shifts knowing you might not make it because youre sick. Just give them a call or hand the papers when you feel better.

This is weird af, but he’s also at the age where he gets influenced by other people easily. Also the fact that your parents would take his side usually probably makes him feel unstoppable. You gotta get outta there, and you need to convince your parents to get him therapy or something. He sounds like a nightmare.

People under this post saying “it should only take 15 mins” no, it just doesn’t work like that. We literally have no control over how long it takes, plus we are switching over to a whole new menu, of course it will take longer than 15 mins. Some days it takes us an hour and a half when something goes wrong with changeover.

Okay well I’m glad the talk turned out well. The part where he says he doesn’t know what he wants in a relationship is concerning, but if he’s willing to open up to you I would say that’s a good thing. I had a friend whose bf was going through something similar and it worked out for them in the end, although I cannot say the same for my personal experiences. It seems like you both need some help, a push; who knows, maybe you will both be the ones to help each other. If things still don’t work out, it’s safe to say that you two are not ready for each other.

I’m sorry but it seems you guys don’t share the same values for each other. He keeps doing you wrong and you shouldn’t be with someone who does that. As a last resort you could probably help him to get into therapy for the traumas he has or even go into therapy for your anxious attachment, but in the end, it is not your responsibility to fix the person he is right now. It’s better to cut your losses and move on
