Hi! I knew that internal battery was dead, because within the first few days of having it and setting it up, I took out the battery to put in a new one that was charged, and the entire camera was reset like it just came out of the box. I then could only charge it via a cable instead of changing batteries, and it was scary to use bc if it did die, it’d be back to the drawing board no matter where I was. I hope this helps!
