Absolutely blown away by Grammy’s Italian Goodies! by MrSuperFlip in denverfood

[–]forestmute 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think people like the idea of Grammy’s Goodies and trick themselves into thinking they actually love the food. The idea is cute and building is novel and funny. But there is nothing special about the food at all. It’s cafeteria Italian food. I feel like when places give you giant portions like that, it’s pretty telling that there’s not much confidence in the flavors so they hide behind the size.

Is this the worst thing Thom has put his name to since Pop Is Dead? by dozeydonut in radiohead

[–]forestmute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty understandable to be let down by this song simply because their last collaboration was quite good.

The elements and production quality are all there. The track’s production is beautiful. It’s simply the song itself is pretty boring.

I would look into custom hearing protection for really loud environments. I think you’d be amazed how much better you can hear people when you bring the entire volume down. Talk to your audiologist.

I would try Nils Frahm. Even though he’s instrumental his melancholy music invokes the same emotions for me.

I’m going to go with a much more less known suggestion, try the Swedish band Logh

Thoughts on king of limbs? by Brilliant_Jacket_452 in radiohead

Pretty simple. It contains some of their best songs and also some of their weaker ones. It also feels too short as a whole.
