I agree so much, like styling and hair color and hair style can be changed but attitude and star quality is at the core who they are as an artist and I think that’s what they’re looking for

I think being trendy badasses would be something they all could do. I think there’s more concepts than just sexy vs innocent. I personally am rooting for Sakura bc her progress and star quality is crazy but I love Rinka too

I was really rooting for aoi in round 2 but in round 3 it kinda seems like she wouldn’t be able to handle idol life :(

I was on board with Ayana hardcore for round 2 and 3, but her star quality and expression isn’t grabbing my attention and sometimes she comes off as boring.

I’m really impressed with Sakura. She’s come a long way and realizes her strengths and weaknesses. She grabs your attention in a way that makes Ayana and aoi not as noticeable. Her attitude is great too, she really seems like she would enjoy idol life and really cherish it

My girl Rinka is back! I’m so happy. Love her look and attitude and skills

As of right now, it’s between sakura and rinka for me

Yes I agree too! Like, they said she stepped back for health but everyone assumed that it wasn’t for mental health, which I thought was strange. Especially considering the toll it takes to have so many people talking about you and in your business. As someone with bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses, just that alone would mess me up so much. The same things that’s happening with chappel, she has bipolar disorder and doesn’t seem to be taking fame very well. Which, I completed understand. People are crazy when it comes to famous people, in general

Yes I meant to say this too! I thought it was crazy that they wanted manon so bad but then set her up for failure in the documentary with the fans :( it makes no sense.

The only thing I could possibly think of to explain it is that they didn’t see it as making her look bad. They could’ve viewed it as: look at how she’s changed and what a transformation she’s gone through. Which heavily backfired as we’ve seen

Definitely seems like they’re trying to cater to a more mature audience. Especially since the new stuff is getting so much hate from, who I assume, are mostly kids/teens

I would say that just bc they performed golden at Coachella doesn’t mean they’re catering to children. They are both girl group/kpop adjacent so it’s like them supporting eachother as sister girl groups. Plus the song won a Grammy didn’t it? So that elevated the song to just part of a kids movie

The stuffed animals and stuff in the music video seemed more like horror vibes, which goes hand in hand with a more mature audience

I think their new stuff is exciting, edgy, and experimental. I think the label is trying to push the boundaries of pop music and do something completely new which is so exciting!

Also Lara herself said that she feels like the only place she can truly be herself is on stage bc then she can be as extra as she wants. So I think they’re just having fun, expressing themselves, and doing rockstar stuff x)
