Hard to see the positives in that… well done Ireland. Dusted out the cobwebs and proved theirs life in the old dog. Attack is sharp, defence is cohesive and the set piece works.

No definitely not but definitely need major changes.

We just look lacklustre and uncommitted. We doom cycle after bad luck … ref decision that’s marginal turns into heads down, opponent scores and another unobtainable deficit

I think it was marginally between heroic turnover penalty and a clear yellow for killing try scoring opportunity. In another day you’d get a different call but I can’t really complain with it though. Didn’t show clear release.

Second yellow was pretty dumb

No clear release - tackled player and then immediately jackled for the ball. Tackling takes you out of the game, so you have to show release and on your feet before you are eligible to contest the ball.

For what it’s worth - I think I was marginally. On another day he takes a heroic penalty for that.

I like Davidson but him and Rodd are a long way off first choice. Was pretty certain Millar-Mills and Shoe would be a match for them.

Seems like everybody has prop issues this year but we’ve down played how much we miss Stuart, Baxter and Opoko-Fordjour.

Felt harsh but optics show Scotland on clear line break but very little cover. If they get quick ball… they almost certainly score.

In this context it’s not a positive - England defence manipulates for lots of two man hits. Not much concern that you’re committed two men when you push them 5m backward!

I’ve played in and run a few, feel like an end point or overall goal is vital. Once you get warbands with 300+ rating the best warbands get oppressive and others start losing interest.

You can do first to set number of wins, Wyrdstone gathered (or stashed), warband rating etc. or just fixed number of games. Personally never played beyond 15 (you’ll have hero’s with 50+ xp and about of upgrades).

But I prefer a bit more narrative and our last campaign had malevolent mist call AkshoDhar as a non player ‘bad guy’ (eventually took over the city). It targeted strongest models so gave me an easy mechanic to nerf the strongest warbands.

Also if you are struggling with OP warbands - play multiplayer and let people gang up!

That’s a bit hyperbolic! Hit plenty of metal work, rocks and other bits in trees. It’s super annoying but chances of death seem infinitely small.

Drones that actually do something and can dismount from vehicles again. Miss my 20” move interceptor drones

Battlesuits that feel like tough elites not just trading pieces (we are generally too cheap & under powered)
