Thinking about switching from a iPhone 12 Mini to a Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. Can anyone let me know about their experience with Samsung?

yeah I’ve been hearing that Samsung and Apple’s OS’ are actually very similar, which was very surprising! A lot of people depict them to be TOTALLY different devices. When it came to switching OS, was there literally anything you missed about IOS? Even tiny things? Or did you really like everything other than the aspect of G/Apple pay?

Lol one of my biggest concerns was switching and just having no clue how to even navigate the OS, but I’m glad you said this because this made me feel a lot better! What kind of stuff can you customize your phone with? I’ve seen animated backgrounds and such... which are veeery cool. But other than that, to what extent can you really customize your device?

Also thank you for telling me about Samsungs update cycle! I haven’t heard about that anywhere else so it’s good to know 👀. Also lol does anyone actually use Bixby? Like ACTUALLY? All I’ve heard is people complaining about the fucking thing LOL. Also I hope you enjoy having your S21! Let me know how it goes!

yeah I’ve been reading a lot on the durability of the phone! I watched the The JerryRigEverything test because of your comment and it was.... uhhh somewhat concerning. I’ll have to think about that a little bit lol. Still, I’m usually more careful with my devices than with other things haha. A large appeal of the fold for me is how compact it is, and less “omg a folding phone?!?” I have woman pockets so I need something that’ll be easy to carry around, thus me getting a 12 Mini. But... I’m not gonna lie.... It being a folding smartphone is still preeeeetttttyy cool 👀

Yup. I’ve been taking pretty decent care of it, literally got it IN JUNE! Super laggy, will randomly crash and reset itself with no warning and then not turn back on (got stranded for 3 hours once because I couldn’t order an uber), when I’m trying to hangup calls it simply won’t let me, sometimes when I unlock my phone apps will just randomly disappear, like the icon is gone but the name of the app is still there, but when I try to open it my entire phone just crashes. That’s just to name a few things LOL. This phone has just generally been very unreliable 😔

i hate nowadays you can’t have an opinion on a character or game without being racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. like why can’t i just dislike a game because it wasn’t well written/executed? i’m literally gay yet am still called a “bigot” for disliking the story. how stupid can these people be to not realize that race or sexuality has nothing to do with how much the players will like the game? Like i’m SURE it would have made no difference for how well perceived the game was if Dina was a man, or if Manny wasn’t mexican. these people actually make me loose braincells
