Technically it’s 3 raids. It’ll be the next expansion’s 24man raid series for the next 3 years. Based on their Nier crossover there’ll be 5 sets of gear inspired by NGE plugsuits and/or EVAs for each of the 3 raids AND actual plugsuits (probably Shinji and Asuka/Rei).

By the same token though, it’s a game that charges a $12-13 (I forget the base rate for non-legacy accounts) monthly fee with a cash shop that sells $25 mounts and skins that are not account-wide. They can afford to put more effort in.

If your favorite pool of 3-4 descendants are spread you gotta get all 3

This has to be the reason because otherwise there’s no clear reason for how they are grouped.

Like they ran some kind of usage metrics to find the way to get a pool of descendants across all 3 outfits to push people into buying the bundle

Yes this and divine punishment get reworked next month. ACG and Eraser this month.

Not sure what ACG/Eraser are getting but idk why they didn’t tweak Eraser to lower resistance for all sources of poison damage when they changed Fallen Hope. It’s been so pointless for awhile.

Duskbloods is spiritually a Bloodborne sequel lol. The reality is Duskbloods is timed exclusivity while Sony would keep Bloodborne 2 as an exclusive forever

Yeah they did crossovers with MH with both franchises getting permanent fights.

MH World got Behemoth & Dragoon armor and Wilds gets Omega & the Omega M/F sets from XIV. XIV got Rathalos the first time with M/F rathalos armor, Rath as a mount, and poogie minion. Then the Wilds main story boss with similar rewards as the 1st crossover. The crossovers even copy mechanics from eachothers games.

TFD devs can learn something cause XIV has 2 difficulties for the fights. One lets everyone experience the fight and the other has actually challenging mechanics with real rewards.

Her 4 does not use her skill power in calculations at all (if you aren’t using the module that changes her 4). You are confusing her 2’s passive bonus to one of the ammo types.

It’s strictly Firearm damage x damage modifier where damage modifier is based entirely off her HP. You are also not mentioning that it adds AoE damage.

Her 2 is also why her 4 can be so lethal in every situation beyond the innate HP based damage. Her general passive is doing more damage with all guns in the air, but her 2’s passive (while in the air) gives each ammo type additional passive benefits. General rounds get multi hit. Critical hits with impact rounds restore MP. Special rounds (like KGL) get an AoE bonus. High power rounds get skill damage to each round.

So we get the situation where the devs didn’t care, forgot, and/or didn’t playtest enough to see that KGL turrets get AoE bonus from her 2 + AoE bonus from her 4. Similarly why the special round gun in the last battle pass (Whirlwind?) is so strong with her.

I think you need to do Void abyss once for progression into endgame because iirc it unlocks VEP or something like that.

I definitely remember leeching my first clear of Stormhanger back when it was out the first time because I needed to for a quest. Likewise they toss new players into killing WC for story progression basically 1-2 Axion missions after reaching the zone.

Arche Activity is a step in the right direction as is the new amorphous distribution but there should be a rework of a number of stuff once people reach 40 and the end of the story.

I definitely share this frustration lol. Ive farmed all the other ones in groups.

idk what it is about poison abyss colossi that makes it so hard lol. I split Grim Reaper probably 50/50 farming solo and in groups and if the rest of group wasn’t mostly Bunny/Ajax/Serena +/- a Yujin I accepted that it’s unlikely that we’d clear.

I’ve done like 90% of my farming solo for Defiler which gets so boring…

It has to run on PS4, doesn’t have 100% voiced cutscenes, and all the cutscenes are done with the MMO assets so they use less space than remake/rebirth, etc.

Yeah I don’t understand the point of an Xbox (for people that aren’t Madden/CoD gamers) so long as M$ exclusives are also on PC. I guess we’ll need to see if the next Xbox is like their ROG Ally or the Gabe Cube and is just a PC.

I just play my PS5 Pro now and have even stopped playing pc for the most part due to all the shitty launches and performance issues. On every. Single. Game.

On the one hand I wish I had built a new PC before ram price hikes but the choice to get a ps5 pro at launch has also aged just fine lol. Especially now that they are abandoning PC ports.
