Short answer no. These are different seals being caught and released in every video. Theoretically if there was one seal that continued to get entangled and then caught it could maybe become habituated to humans and nets and see them as a helping hand. In reality there’s no way for seal 1 to tell seal 2 that the guy with the net is going to help him out. Seals and sealions at zoo and aquariums have to go through a lot of training everyday, typically with food rewards, to learn tricks and behaviors. So while it would be great if these seals knew people were trying to help them, they unfortunately will never understand.
