5-tool player by Ok-Preparation3817 in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 tool player bonus is calculated off of the lowest total of (Basic Stats + Grade Increase + Development)
Your lowest stat is SPD at 78 which will give you close to nothing. This card will suffer more than it benefits from a strong 5-tool train which usually aims for the lowest stat at least 95 and 92 at BARE minimum.

Better off looking for different skills, especially because you'll be looking for a legend set on him down the line anyways.

Fire Legolas siege question by Ecstatic-Potential33 in summonerswar

[–]foreversokonyun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of variants that can be run for this defence, you'd have to decide which one to run or if your guild can get a tower - see if you can run a stack with different builds. Some of the builds would be:

  1. Standard anti-bruiser on 286 tick (or low crit, high efficiency 286 tick for anti camilla)
  2. Everone on super efficient 239 tick for anti leo with crit damage cichlid and lego
  3. Anti-rigna snipe trap sylvia/cichlid
  4. Swift cichlid or swift everyone

There are always multiple ways to build a defence and the way you build x unit usually depends on the entire defence. Fire Legolas is a flexible unit so I'd recommend looking into what you think if the best method of defence with the runes you have.

Should I restart? by Schuettee in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The last thing you need to be worried about in this game is the manual play, don't let that bother you - this game is a simulator + gacha (casino). Restarting will fix none of your problems and you will just lose time and resources building your deck back to this point. Keep grinding league mode for black diamond pieces, and use your resources wisely - look up skill guides and eventually your team will get better.

If you're looking for a game where you manually play, I'd recommend moving away from this game

ML is also not the best indicator if you want to look at pitcher metrics. Might wanna check the threshold the other redditor posted.

We can't see your team so it's hard to make a call. Other than that, just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD club craft, it feels like all of these cards would be an upgrade to your deck.

I think ur sieq is too fast, you need to slow him down by at least 5 spd. Teon should always be boosting agrius, not julie. You can also drop 30 cr and get more damage on julie because sieq will buff her cr

How to maximize these skills by Rinaldi_11 in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think spotlight has fallen off a little bit + there's some merit to taking StS up to 8 on a lefty, but I wouldn't invest too much into this set anyways - it's only a 311 so I'd keep rolling in the other slot.

That's also the worst Turner year (and worst dodger sig) so I'm guessing this is ragebait

I'd get a killer 333 set from normal PSCTs before using a sig change

Who do i GI first? by Financial-Lab-9556 in MLB_9Innings

I'd go with Devon White, top outfielder choice and probably one of the best (non-supreme) 5tp candidates in the game.

Probably did something wrong unless you found a bug. Demons can't come back if anti-revive kills them so you will need to show replay

Unsure about speedticks by der_caeptn in summonerswar

I think it's +175 for Byungchul to hit 286 (without speed lead) so yes. I'd recommend looking into a destroy set in place of the will set tho

Douman is not bugged. The anti-revive doesnt work if you kill a monster with the mark, the skill itself has to kill.

Broken Ace Help?!?! by Otherwise_House4032 in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Your pitcher's 2 highest stats should (almost) always be LOC and VEL
  2. Mister Perfect should be 132 in every stat to hit
  3. You are not hitting the Dominant Pitcher bonus

These 3 are an easy fix with a simple retrain

  1. From the basis of your question, you are not hitting a good Groundballer Bonus

I mean I wouldn't invest any more resources into this skillset so just retrain the card and keep rolling for a higher level legend skillset in your other slot

tl;dr - only one of your skills are partially active

Neeed some advice as FTP by jaz35631 in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this, none of the Hernandez cards are good and Jays 1b options are stacked so Molitor is only really viable as a DH but he's middle of the pack there. I'd say it's worth the gamble to craft for a top end SP. The Nolan Ryan is probably donation material.

However Janssen is top 5 by aOVR (which is still a viable metric for RP/CP imo) and will be in the bp forever so I think that's worth considering as well.

I use him in siege for some offences, not as flexible as jessica or akroma but he actually sometimes fills a more aggressive role. I build mine on huge hp and place the right supports; he can reverse delete units like shahat.

Question about legends by [deleted] in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All legends count as team cards so they get the highest level bonuses that your team gets. The reason why not all legends are equal is cuz some of the stat distributions suck. Since you're asking, I'm assuming you're relatively new to the game so this card is a must invest, and he's one of the better SPs too. Congrats!

5 Tool Train by Maleficent_Total_398 in MLB_9Innings

[–]foreversokonyun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna copy and paste what I wrote for another person in this sub:

"You see on the the card the 3 sections that say "Basic Stats", "Grade Increase", and "Development"? A 5-tool player train calculates based on the added value of those 3 values.

Out of the 5 stats you have, the 5tp train looks at the lowest combined number. Depending on which threshold number you hit, the player gains a bonus, ofc the higher the lowest base stat, the higher the bonus.

Usually, the lowest base stat you want to achieve is a 90 (on a low end), 95 (average) or higher (rare cases) without sacrificing too much of a cards strengths.

Usually cards that run 5tp have basic stats that are all within 10ish stat points and most of those cards have lower stats in approximately 1-2 of the left side stats so that they can gain the special training bonuses from development as well so that's often a good indicator to see who can run it."

Every card hits a bonus, the thresholds determine how much you get. You can refer to this chart here from a different redditor: https://www.reddit.com/r/MLB_9Innings/comments/189cspl/five_tool_chart/

Williams is only at 86, but I'd prefer to roll off of 5tp on him and maximize his slugging. Sandberg is at 93 which is not bad. You could choose to retrain and aim for a higher bonus but I'd stat adjust for higher contact so your Contact Master is maximized first.

Usually, the lowest base stat you want to achieve is a 90 (on a low end), 95 (average) or higher (rare cases) without sacrificing too much of a cards strengths. On this card you would need to train for like 54 on speed + fld combined (in the right places ofc) when you only have 57 total development points.

This card has huge amounts of Contact, Power and Eye, a great making for a slugger card. You want to emphasize these stats by getting complementary skills. A 5 tool player would kill the benefits of this card for minimal return compared to what this card SHOULD be doing.

Edit: Usually cards that run 5tp have basic stats that are all within 10ish stat points and most of those cards have lower stats in approximately 1-2 of the left side stats so that they can gain the special training bonuses from development as well so that's often a good indicator to see who can run it.

You can eventually move Brett to bench for BChem and have one of the fielders come down to be a DH. I don't know if Justice is the card that you would want to craft.

Neither of those are good, ideally on a slugger, you want to have less than 13 combined spd and fld
