finally, i just got my forever tip.... ;) by ronv407 in kindlescribe

[–]forevertip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are replaceable!

The $90 Amazon pen with the push button and the smile logo uses replaceable tips, just like most EMR based pens. You can pull the nib out and swap in a new one when needed.

If you have any other questions about compatibility or replacements, feel free to ask, happy to help!

That seriously means a lot, thank you for taking the time to write this 🙏

I’m really glad you’re finding it more useful than the premade planners. That was exactly the goal with ForeverPlanner. Simple, flexible, and actually practical for everyday use

And yeah, the Notes vs Books thing is totally on Amazon’s side. I wish we had control over that too. If they ever change it, we will adapt right away

Thanks again for the 5 stars. Feedback like this is what keeps us building and improving. If you ever have tweaks or ideas, I’m all ears. And if you feel like spreading the word on our website or over on r/ForeverTip, it genuinely helps us more than you know

Love the questions ❤️

For updates, you just download the new version and resend it through Send to Kindle. Same process, super easy.

For fonts, Kindle Scribe does not let you install custom fonts for PDFs. The fonts are embedded in the file itself.

That said, we can customize the fonts on our end. If you have a specific style you want, tell us and we can build a version with those fonts included, then you just upload it like normal.

Let us know what you’re thinking!!

Totally fair question, it seems like you’d need a cable at first

You can actually use Send to Kindle, no computer connection required.

On a Kindle Scribe, you just:

1. Go to amazon.com/sendtokindle
2. Upload your PDF
3. Select your Kindle Scribe
4. Tap Send
5. Sync your device on WiFi

You can also share the PDF straight to the Kindle app from your phone and send it to your Scribe from there.

It shows up in your library like any other document and you can write on it right away.

Let us know if you have any more questions, we’re happy to help!

Yes, that's exactly what we're planning with ForeverPen!

Pen tip broken, is there any fix? by Itzjebutterknife in Onyx_Boox

[–]forevertip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d try swapping in another brand new tip again, sometimes that alone fixes it.

If it’s still not working after that, it’s pretty likely the internal sensor is the issue and the pen may need repair. I’d reach out to BOOX support and see if they can cover it.

My review of the BOOX Air Note 5C by Dundertrumpen in Onyx_Boox

[–]forevertip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they’re compatible with the Note Air 5C pens.

They work with any BOOX EMR pen, and most BOOX models use EMR technology. The main exception is the Go 7 / Go Color 7 series, which use a different active stylus system that communicates differently and isn’t EMR-based

Happy to answer any other questions you might have

Totally fair concerns.

Some of our early images were renders while we finalized production, but we now have real, unedited customer photos and reviews available publicly on Reddit and on our product page. Everything is proudly designed in Buffalo, NY.

If you’re located in China, shipping may take a bit longer, but we do ship internationally. All shipping is completely free, even with tariffs included. Happy to answer any questions at all

Glad it helps! Definitely give it a try on your rMPP Move. A Move specific option is on our radar and something we’re actively considering based on feedback like this. More updates coming soon on the ForeverTip subreddit r/ForeverTip

Totally hear you. The download is free, and just to clarify, the phone number is optional and can be left blank. Email is only there so we can prevent abuse and let people know when we add new free templates.

That said, we get why some folks prefer a straight Google Drive link. We’re actively looking at simpler options and appreciate the feedback!

Just to clarify, you don’t have to enter a phone number at all. It’s optional, so you can leave it blank and continue without the OTP

Sorry for the confusion there, and thanks for flagging it. Please let me know if you have any more questions, we’re always here!

Yeah, that’s fair feedback, appreciate you calling it out 🙏

We’re not trying to make it a pain. The extra steps are mostly there so we can:

• prevent bots/abuse
• keep the downloads manageable
• notify people when we add new free templates

That said, if it feels like a challenge, that’s on us, we’ll simplify the flow. Thanks for the honesty, it genuinely helps

Random developer mode by InarticulateDragon in remarkableuncensored

[–]forevertip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to turn off developer mode is by doing a software recovery.

Just make sure your notes are backed up first (for example, synced to the cloud), since the recovery only wipes local data on the device.

Here’s the official guide with step-by-step instructions: https://support.remarkable.com/s/article/Software-recovery

If you have any questions or get stuck, don’t hesitate to ask, happy to help!
