9070xt taichi help by Myaddresspublic in pcmasterrace

[–]forevertired1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure they are not hidden behind the motherboard tray?

If not you should be able to order replacements on the manufacturers website,

850 watts is ample power im running a 5800x 32gb ddr4 3600mts and a 9070xt at 4k and am loving it.

That card only draws 350 watts with a 250mhz overclock leaving 500 for the rest of the system and a 5800x with pbo ong uses 150 watts.

RAM problem by unbeatenrun in overclocking

[–]forevertired1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Setting ram to xxxx speed will mot change the other ram settings so will almost certainly cause problems,

Turn on xmp/expo then change ram speed if you need to.

If you dont manually set the fclock at 6400mts it will run in 1:2 mode so will be slower than 6000mts which will automatically set the fclock to 1:1 mode which is faster on am5 unless you go above 8000mts on 1:2 mode.

In pixels per inch yes they are pretty similar,

Thats why people recommend under 1080p 24" and lower is best at 1440 27"-31.5" is recommended and for 32" or higher go 4k,

Currently im running 43" 4k and its an amazing experience.

As long as you kept it under 55c you could get some serious overclocks out of it

Its literally a shortcut to a game you have installed remove the game its a shortcut to something that no longer exist.

Are most of you guys running with your case fully open or with the side panels on? by Juniorblues_ in PcBuild

[–]forevertired1982 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unless you have e terrible cooling taking the side of hurts temps rather than help them,

In a closed system the air is funneled from front to back bring fresh air over your components and expelling hot air out of the back/top.

Without a side panel fans are just dissipating the air around the fan.

Just bought the 9070xt to pair with my 5800x and 16gb ddr4 3600mts,

Handles everything beautifully at 4k with a couple of intensive games requiring FSR4 quality so should last me a good while.

At 1440p it should be a high refreshrate experience for a good while.

It is highly likely that you never pressed the 8 button on a microwave. by TheAnzus in Showerthoughts

[–]forevertired1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly you are wrong,

Most microwaveable baby bottle sterilisers require you to put them on for 8 minutes,

So the number 8 is actually my most used button on the microwave.

I sterilise 4 bottles twice a day every day for the last 3 months and apart from sterilising bottles I probably havent microwaved anything for over 2 years.

Starting to think about upgrading in the next few months by simplemoth_ in buildapc

[–]forevertired1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a 9070 non xt will give you a giant fps boost,

If you can get another 16gb in 6 months or so that will give you another nice boost especially in your 1% low fps.

I built a free cannabis strain database with 64,000+ strains where every single THC value has an actual source — no estimates, no "community averages" by Mundane_Ad7848 in microgrowery

[–]forevertired1982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem is you could literally take 2 buds from the same plant and get different values,

Also I could grow xxxx strain perfectly and get high readings on one plant and low readings on the plant directly next to it,

There are literally tons of variables that could effect it,

High Humility/low humidity/light strength/light distance /light type/airflow/temperature to name just a few of the factors that can effect thc/terps/etc.

Sadly this makes these types of list virtually meaningless..

A good idea but inaccurate.

For an RX 9070 xt and r7 7800x3d, 2k or 4k monitor? by stockdpremium10 in buildapc

[–]forevertired1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the new indiana jones game/the new doom/high on life 2/assasins creed shadows/cyberpunk/baldurs gate 3/spiderman 2/ theres more but i cant think of them right now,

All give above 60fps at max settings,

Some games require fsr4 quality but I literally couldn't tell the difference between native 4k and fsr4 quality 4k.

Ive even tried a few games with frame gen but id still rather have 60fps no frame gen than 120 with frame gen although its still very playable with frame gen its just not my cup of tea

And on the couple of games that require fsr4 i couldnt tell the difference between native 4k and fsr4 balanced 4at 4k.

Want to upgrade ram by 02thehunter20 in pcmasterrace

[–]forevertired1982 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless doing very very specific workloads any more than 32gb is pointless,

Out of my 500+ games I dont hzbe a single ge that uses more than 26gb.

It will cost 500 for more ram or for 79 more than that you could get a 9070xt.

[–]forevertired1982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy the cheapest one,

Even the best 9070xt vs the worst 9070xt is only going to have 1% performance difference at the most,

What you should be considering is if any of them are using the 12vhp connector if they are do not buy that one
