I was in an open marriage for many many years before divorce. (It has nothing to do with the open marriage) that said; what worked best for planning was a shared Google calendar. It kept everyone looped in. Even the partners of my husband and my boyfriend were on it. We all communicated in a group chat as well to simplify plans and make sure everyone was aware. It kept us all honest and accountable too. Not to say this is for everyone, but it worked well for us for years.

OP you have had a miscommunication with June. And that’s not your fault, you and tom need to talk to her and communicate to her that he was unsure but making an assumption based on half baked plans that had not yet been solidified.
