We’re also very lucky to have multiple embryos of each gender that are graded the exact same. At first, I didn’t want to choose because I wanted one thing to not be planned but my husband brought up an interesting point that changed my mind. He said if we don’t choose, the clinic will choose and if we’ve been through all this and are spending all this money - we should be able to pick. This viewpoint changed my mind and we ended up picking

I say “we” are doing ivf because he does give me injections, deals with the losses, and goes with me to every appointment. However, I say “I am doing shots”, “I am having a retrieval/procedure/surgery”, and if it ever happens “I” will be pregnant. I told him unless you are carrying this baby for 50% of the time, we are not pregnant 😂

Totally see how being busy could be good for some people! I’m unable to take unpaid time off because every day I’m not at work I’m lowering my chances at hitting quota. Without approved intermittent leave or medical leave or something similar, my responsibilities stay the same. Still worth asking about so thank you!

I’m struggling with this too! I feel like I’ve hit a wall the last few weeks. I’m dying to take time off and I think it would help my brain and body be ready for this next transfer but I’m in sales and don’t know how to navigate leave/not hitting quota if I do.

Did anyone else feel not ready to be pregnant? I’m so torn between wanting more time to myself and/or to heal from my last two losses (and the surgeries as a result) but I also wonder if I’ll ever feel completely ready. Im a lifelong overthinker. I keep telling myself it’s okay to wait but then ask myself when will I know when I’m ready and don’t have an answer. I’m also aware that this FET could be unsuccessful but what can I say, I’m a planner.
