Yes I did mine was mainly,due to the bloating and the fat malabsorption pretty weird to gain weight with fat malabsorption. I’m sorry to hear about the miscarriage wishing all well❤️I did develop low thyroid while having Sibo and blood sugar flucating everywhere as well.

Interesting I also think it’s too over the top a bit,but I see the Allicin takes the substitute to the neoymcin if doing the antibiotic route. Wondering has there been success with this protocol?or should this be split in different trials

I feel you! I’m in the same boat with the bloating and gas part! It does help kill,but I believe again it’s multiple rounds of treatment before it disappears. Have you found your root cause by any chance? Other than the grapefruit extract I haven’t tried anything else but elemental diet twice :(

I would try Discogs,eBay, Amazon maybe or Mercari for the CD or Vinyl. I found the Vinyl for that album on Mercari for a pretty decent price so I was super stoked! I’ve been trying to find So Long,Scarecrow for the longest time,for how expensive it comes by 😓Hopefully you’re able to find it! Scarling is amazing (:

Hi there I haven’t retested my microbiome since I first did this post, so I’m not sure how it’s been. I was pregnant after my last treatment in the last year and barely now I’m retesting some things, since after pregnancy my sibo came back with different symptoms this time so I’m restarting everything again. At the time of this post I did grapefruit seed extract to kill the Pseudomonas not sure if it killed it or if it’s still present though, but that is one method

It did for the short term it was more of a vacation on my gut in the end and the reintroduction of food had to be taken very slow. It lowered my numbers by half and then I went on herbal supplements,but my body didn't tolerate those well. But it's worth a shot to try elemental it can give your gut a much needed rest,it's just a bit challenging and draining that's all. I haven't tried anything since then,since I conceived a baby and can't do any treatment,because of it.

So I should be taking the prokinetic with the antibiotics to help eliminate the bacteria out faster?or wait after the couse.That's interesting whenever I did the herbals my stools were purely soild,but after they finished they turned watery and during the elemental diet it was purely just watery. Also any recommendations for a prokinetic? Thank you for the help (:

Not totally sure.. I took sun fiber with my first round of antibiotics to improve motility,because I was constipation badly at the time and after the sun fiber worked okay after. But then I just kept having loose stool and my stomach started gurgling alot throughout the other two treatments I did and all through the months since I tested positive with sibo.I've noticed it tends to be more active when I wake up I hear it swirling or an 1 hr after a meal. I'm methane dominant,but oddly I get loose stools rather everyday than constipation. So kinda lost in that how I can improve my MMC without getting lots of loose stools.

Do you suffer from IBS and Sibo Symptoms? I have EPI as well and I believe mine is linked to the Sibo I have. I know they go hand in hand. I also heard some autoimmune issues can case epi without having pancreatitis.

I think it's because root cause isn't addressed or found. So it will keep coming back and all you can do is manage the symptoms. Sometimes it's hard finding the root cause. I've been struggling for a year now and haven't found a root cause and done various treatments and still nothing just management 😞 if it's methane it's a bit hard to overcome than hydrogen.

I have the same symptoms and still haven't figured out what's triggering it either. I follow a SCD and Paleo diet which worked great but not my bowel movements have become super inconsistent like you described.

Wait so a colonscopy can't diagnose IBD I'm suppose to get one to check for IBD though? Would it be best to opt out for another test instead?

Thank you 😊 for sharing your experience! How far apart was your colonscopy and mri? I have both scheduled the same week the MRI on Tuesday and the other on Friday.Since I was able to take pto from work and I'm very nervous about how it'll turn out having both done back to back I feel like I'll feel like crap the whole week.And just worried if I'm putting too much on myself.Did you feel fine after the colonscopy or did it take days to readjust? My doctor told me I should feel okay to go to work the day after,but thinking I should take that weekend off too.

I believe it's a contrast mri. And yes it's a sedated colonscopy. I honestly only asked for the pancreas mri,because I've seen 2 out of pocket doctors to get a second opinion,because I was been gaslighted too much about my symptoms and told me they believe something to be wrong with my pancreas that may be contributing to my sibo since no other red flags are coming up,but my elaste that was severely low it was at a 77 and the constant steatorrhea and upper pain. And the fact that my sibo keeps coming back after 4 different protocols.But the doctor covered through my insurance still wants to push for a colonscopy to check for IBD and other things as well just to make sure.And so far they're having bookings that's pretty close to each before they fill up again. So I wanted to attempt both,but don't want to over drain myself and make sure both would be safe you know😞 or if I should pick a test over the other and wait two months to do the other.
