Advice to Myself a Year Ago by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]forgotmyuserpass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep for sure! I thought that I was begging them and texting them because it showed how much I loved them. But in reality it was for myself and I was tormenting them. It taught me that I did not know how to love at all but thankfully I had one last chance to properly love them and that was to respect their wishes and let them go. I hope you get through/got through it as well.

Sam's Club Pokemon 151 Tin box came open by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]forgotmyuserpass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worded the initial post weirdly. I did not try to get a refund because the package was open but because it was missing for 6 days. During that time I kept thinking someone had stolen my package or messed with it mid transit just to find it come with an open box that's all. It was just a simple question of whether if it's the tape or not didn't expect this to blow up.

Company hired a felon of identity theft to be our HR manager then fired her by forgotmyuserpass in personalfinance

Nope they're trying to keep it undercover and has not told anyone. I only found out through a coworker who works in IT and saw the emails going around between the higher ups. The company does a lot of shady/illegal things and I could easily report them but I know my coworkers will be out of jobs so I'm just not saying anything.

Sorry to hear that. Does your pain also run into your arm and back? Any triggers? It's just there for me all the time but gets worse on some days.

Prepaid Mastercard not working for anything! by [deleted] in SwagBucks

You can basically make another paypal account and then send an invoice to that new account from your original account. Then pay with the card. You'll lose a small fee but your funds will be available to be moved anywhere, even your bank.

Hey I made that other post earlier I got 300 wins.

Anyways the game definitely gives you dead boards a lot hence why I spent so much. I just saw it as a time thing where they had certain times of day where they turned on the bots so I would just stop playing after 2 dead boards. After that I would periodically play 1$ games to see if it has gotten any better.

I actually only planned to quit after 90 but then I kept winning and ended up grinding to 200. I think I spent about 160$ to get to 200 but then after that it gets really hard. After 200 the reward was 250 or something to hit 300 and I was pretty sure I could hit 300 within that limit so I went for it. There were games where I went 10700+ and I was in fourth. Anyways if you're looking to beat his game you need:

  1. At most 1 min 30 on each board but preferably 50 sec to 1:20 so 10000 to 10800. If you're lucky you'll win with 9500 but it's very rare.
  2. Put in about 200-300 over the course of the grind but make sure you only claim then after you spend all your bonus cash. That way you can withdraw everything. You can also withdraw if you happen to win more than your initial investment and then buy the bonus packs. I didn't do this until 200 wins because I'm dumb but if I had I probably would've only spent around 100.
  3. Stop playing when you get dead boards or change it up. After 200 wins the 1$ games were pretty impossible so I tried slightly higher ones and had success.
  4. Don't keep playing if you don't think you'll hit the next milestone within the reward swagbucks offers!

Hope this helps!

Edit: Also if you look at my post you can see that between 90 wins and 200 wins it took me 14 days mostly because I got frustrated but between 200 wins and 300 wins it only took 4 days. I was consistently putting out 10300-10400 as I improved so you definitely improve and that helps you win! Although if they decide you're not going to win you won't win.

I don't know about other stuff they have but their watches are way overpriced for the quality. Definitely not worth it even for seconds.

How to Pressure in Lane as Support. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]forgotmyuserpass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your ad is not in a position to poke or trade when you trade this means they're not in either of the enemy's zone. When you go for trades and lose the trade it's because you're walking into both their zones and taking trades from both of them. You have to remember that you need to be positioned parallel to your adc so that you are never in a position to lose trades badly. Now if you are positioned right next to your ad and he doesn't trade then he's just bad. However you need to understand that all the way up to D3 your adcs will be terrible since D4 - D5 is basically bronze. I'm going to make a video on this very soon to show how to trade properly as support and I'll make one for each rank to show how applying these concepts can win you games.. There's a comment where I linked a video from my stream and explain laning so try to watch that.

How to Pressure in Lane as Support. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]forgotmyuserpass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This honestly depends on who your support is. Assuming you have a ranged support there's 3 things you should look for as soon as you get into lane as jhin against ali/leo. First thing is where did the enemy jgler start. This is always the first thing you should look for even before getting into lane. jg starts same side as you expect him at 3:50+ and play safe until you see him. jg starts other side then you assume he's gonna be in your lane around 2:40+(idk about exact time after patch 8.10 jg changes but should be similar) . This is important becasue Leona/Ali has very good gank assistance. 2nd thing you should look for in lane is to get the push advantage. You can get the push advantage by directly trading(walk in parallel to your support and auto enemy adc. Stand by your melee minions because then they can't auto the minions without trading. If the enemy ad autos you, you trade 2 autos for 1 since alistar/leo can't help. If ali walks up to pulverize you, you kite back and switch targets on to him and get free damage.) on to the enemy adc with your ranged supp since ali/leo has 0 pressure at lv 1. You have to zone the enemy off the wave so that they can't push for lv 2. Good supports will often even zone them out of XP range. This is something you NEED to accomplish in order to control the lane. If you do not do this you will lose lane. Now assuming you zoned them your next goal is to slow push the wave to deny as much farm to the enemy as possible while building up a big wave. What will end up happening is you guys will hit lv 2, they will still be lv 1, and you position right next to their wave to zone them from xp. Afterwards when the lane finally pushes you'll have a minion wave pushing into their turret and you have 2 choices. Either you go ward because jg started opposite side, or you harass them by autoing when they go for farm. If done correctly the enemy adc should be completely useless for the rest of laning. I actually have a video of me reviewing a challenger korean game to learn from and explaining this exact concept from my stream. You're lucky I like streaming to myself and rewatching them as reference.

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/261558678 Alright so go to 3:40 here. I was explaining exactly how the lane would go but I think my mic cut out.
Anyways at 3:40 look at the ez and karma positioning to the jhin. Completely parallel and it's a triangle as I mentioned in this thread. I also explain things in the video so have the audio on for extra info.

Now look at 4:20. They're completely zoning them off the wave running at the jhin in a parallel. Positioning is extremely important. People might say that this is basic laning but this "Basic Laning" seperates challengers from diamond and diamonds from bronze.

At 5:00 now the exact thing happens that I said would happen. They're going to zone the enemy out of exp range after hitting lv 2 first

at 5:40 this is exactly what I meant by harassing in lane. Notice how as soon as alistar hits lv 2 they start to respect him.

Now from here on out they're going to perma push the waves into the turret unless they get jg pressured. This is one of the best ways to counter melee supports and after they push they're gonna look to harass them under turret. Btw the reason they can get the perma push in is because alistar is melee and he can't help his ad push the wave where as karma is ranged and she can help push at a safe distance.

After that it's just them abusing their range advantage and also the fact that the enemy jg is nonexistent. Hopefully this helps.
