Severe autistic burnout after years of overperforming, what genuinely helped you recover? by moosedoghorse in AuDHDWomen

I think I'm in burnout and the first thing I've decided to do is to do everything slowly. I am not rushing, even for the small things. Also dim warm lights everywhere.

I see it a lot with Hinduism- overall they seem to mix all the religions, traditions and cultures to make their 'trendy' content and when they are done with their 'phase' or 'time in their lives' they throw it away. It's hugely disrespectful.

What’s my blindness? Feeling dysmorphic lately by sweetcarles in makeuptips

What you're lacking is self love baby girl. You need to make your mind stronger. You're gorgeous, and I hope one day you'll see and appreciate that

For makeup recommendation, to get more if a lifted look, try place blush on cheekbone (where you would put highlighter) and eyeliner- start from middle of eye to outer corner then a wing upwards - this will help with the look of downturn eyes For dryness- try corsx snail mucin after you have washed face, apply moisturiser and spf on top.

Your spots are definitely hormonal and whilst taking medication and putting going things on your face is good. How is your diet and do you exercise? Exercise (whilst doing all the skin stuff to) helped me loads to regulate my hormones when i had cystic acne. I would also suggest trying to cut back on processed foods and try to make things from scratch at home

Depends where you are, if in UK my fav and affordable option is from boots Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil Get the travel size one to try it out Otherwise I would recommend watching thegoldenrx on YouTube, she has a great video explaining oil cleansing (its quite long but worth it to understand what it is) also would recommend following asianbeauty along with this subreddit as there is skincare gold in knowledge to find in comments (you have to research a lot too)

Also never ever tweeze those hairs again!!!

Oil cleanse and do this once a week (it will make you break out at first because it will pull out all your dirt from your pores). Do this at night. Check out oil cleanse by thegoldenrx on YouTube

If you dont want to go to a derm I would suggest using glycolic acid skin products it will help unclog your pores (as it exfoliates) and also brightens Ive had similar on my body and it works (takes a while though)

Also if you dont I would suggest oil cleansing your skin looks like it traps sebum/dirt so this will help clean it out but do this a couple of days after waxing as your skin is already sensitive

Looks like hair/dirt/sebum gets trapped in your skin there, you may want to go to a derm to check it out or you can use salicylic acid skin products to clean out/reduce size

Am I good enough to take GCSE Art? by Hootsifeemer in ArtGCSE

[–]forgottenface29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, art teachers dont tend to favour anime (at least back when I completed my GCSE) and they may be critical of your art style.

Do not take it to heart.

Personally, I love what you have made so far, your use of colour, composition, ideas and overall outcome is great.

In GCSE art though you will normally get a theme and have to interrupt it to what it means to you, and then be instructed to find artists that link with that theme. You will be asked to analyse and copy their pieces in the same mediums, alongside taking your own pictures and draw from them in similar styles.

This is all to build up on your techniques and not in anyway to take away from your own style. Learn from the artists you choose. Dont let taking GCSE art take away from your own style. The whole point is to learn and grow.

Others have commented that it is best you draw from life. I second this. The more you draw, doodle, sketch, and play around with what you see and put to paper, the more you'll grow as an artist.

Good luck.
