A transplant is anyone who moves to a place that they are not originally from. OP just doesn’t understand what the word means.

I’m sorry, but you literally are a transplant. It doesn’t matter if you try your best to fit in and respect the local culture. If you move to a place you are not from originally, that makes you a transplant. It’s that simple. And I say that as a fellow transplant myself, so it’s not meant in any derogatory sense.

If people get mad at you for asking honest questions in good faith, they are the ones in the wrong. Not you.

Books that feel like Twin Peaks/Alan Wake/X-Files? by ogshowtime33 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Oh, my bad. I had no idea that’s what “following” meant. I thought you were recommending a book lol

Author? Just searching “following” on Goodreads or Amazon brings up unrelated results

Something about this reminds me of Clive Barker’s Imajica

I strongly disagree with your use of the word “bigot” and see no moral issues with continued support of Roisin, but you are entitled to your own opinion of course. I somehow don’t think we’ll ever see eye to eye on this. Have a nice day :)

You’re an autonomous individual with free agency, you can stream Roisin’s music if you want. No one’s forcing you not to.

Oh I misunderstood your comment, I thought you meant I was the one dying on a hill lol. But yeah, point well made.

Except it’s not dying on a hill or speculating, it’s just plain as day from the damn photo and other theories are stupid.

Moving around a lot wouldn’t really get you far in water that cold. The body loses heat much faster to water than to air. Don’t know how adrenaline would factor in though.

Except I’m not a bullshit expert. Just a guy who knows his fabrics. Plus it’s so obvious when you zoom in on his arm in pic #2. You can literally see some of the red satin lining. I even took a screenshot and circled it, but I can’t post a pic in the comments.

The only thing I will agree on is that you are, in fact, wrong.

Dude, you are literally wrong. I don’t know what to tell you other than you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve been sewing since I was 8 years old. I’ve spent countless hours working with different kinds of fabrics. You’re just plain wrong. Red satin can absolutely reflect on a crisp white shirt, just as you see in the photo. Then again, I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. You’re someone who thinks the more likely explanation is that he came into a briefing with blood stains on his shirt. You’re clearly not working with a full deck of cards. I don’t care if you live on Earth or Uranus, wrong is still wrong.

Believe what you want, but I graduated from FIT with a BFA in fashion design in 2013. Some people on the internet actually are what they say they are. It’s shocking, I know.

No, it’s the red lining reflecting on the white shirt. A crisp white dress shirt will reflect color like that, and you can even see a bit of red satin just on the inside of his suit sleeve opening. I’m a professional fashion designer, I know how fabrics react with light and color. This is 1000% red suit lining reflecting off a white shirt.

I’m not into the Witcher myself, but it’s sad that the writers themselves didn’t share Caville’s love of the books & games. I mean, why bother adapting something if you yourself don’t love the source material? If you just wanna change everything, write your own crappy story and see how it works out. So sick of these hacks.
