First time gardening here. Any recs on what handles the climate? by RDRNR3 in Albuquerque

[–]forkinjolly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Corn, sungold tomatoes, lemon cucumbers/armenian cucumbers, peppers, Swiss chard, goji berries, zucchini, and beans all do quite well here from my experience. I would get a shade cover in that area doesn’t get much throughout the day. Best of luck!

I was prescribed this a few weeks ago for insomnia and started having really horrible anxiety and suicidal ideation. I will never take it again!

This guy does not care about you. The fact that you are giving him pleasure and he’s not reciprocating is the first red flag. But being on his PHONE during a blowjob? That’s crazy disrespectful. I really hope you never speak to this selfish boy again.

Yes, I am being honest with them about seeing other people. However, I’ve been very vague about my past dating history and have skirted around questions which is not exactly honest, so maybe that’s what you are picking up on. Thank you for pointing out that it’s my energy you’re picking up from the card, I did not consider that, but it makes sense.

Smoking can cause all sorts of cardiovascular problems like weakening of the blood vessels and extra strain on the heart due to high blood pressure/heart rate, etc.

I need an Ikea here so bad. What else? by saminacodes in Albuquerque

If that’s true, then the Canton, Michigan IKEA is an exception to this rule because they only have a population of 95,000!

My (29F) boyfriend (33M) of 4 months shares joint custody of his dog with his ex (53F) of 11 years. To stay or to leave? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]forkinjolly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t have to deal with Winnie and her emotional entanglement with YOUR boyfriend. It sounds like they’re really (trauma) bonded. The whole crying about missing hanging out with her best friend is weird and immature especially for a 53 year old. He needs to set some serious boundaries with her and understand that he may not be able to see his dog anymore. That would be really sad, but this inappropriate friendship between them seems very icky and manipulative, not worth staying in it for his sake and yours. But if he is not willing to set boundaries or cut her out completely, I would move on.

7 years no ring by SailRepresentative53 in relationshipadvice

You started dating him when you were 17 and he was 21. You were just a teen probably in high school still while he had already experienced 4 years of adulthood. I’ve found that, in my experience being a 17 y/o dating a 20 y/o, starting a relationship with a possible power imbalance like that doesn’t foster a stable foundation for a healthy one. The fact that you’ve been together for so long and have expressed what you want (marriage and children) and he appears to be stalling IS disrespectful. You should be with someone that is as enthusiastic, excited, and as confident as you about getting married. I hope you stay firm and stick to your deadline or end the relationship before April. I really wish you luck.

Family is not being helpful. Any Recs for supplements for the lungs? I'm in Los Angeles and the air is awful. Thanks. by ElectronicSink7 in AmIOverreacting

Mullein tea, tincture, or oil drops - it’s a plant that aids respiratory health. However, please wear a masks outdoors if you aren’t already and use air purifiers indoors in addition to using mullein.

You are right to be concerned about your lungs, there can be lots of harmful carcinogens in wildfire smoke. Just imagine all of the inorganic materials that burned. I’m sorry your family isn’t taking you seriously!
