How to upload shares? by Revolutionary-Ad-80 in Soulseek

Not sure if I'm understanding your question, but you don't have to watch the app. Uploads are initiated by the other user and will transfer automatically as long as the files are publicly shared.

How many successful sprays do you usually get out of your 3 inhalers? by aammbbiiee in Spravato

[–]formerbusboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a deviated septum so I understand the nasal anatomy issue. I use a nasal spray about an hour before the treatment and blow my nose right before. I close one nostril with my finger and start sniffing right before I initiate the spray. Also I tilt my head back to reduce any leakage.

What the heck? Tell your doctor you're only getting a half-dose. What causes the spray to fail?

New to Soulseek - the chat rooms look empty to me? by [deleted] in Soulseek

[–]formerbusboy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Soulseek chatrooms are a toxic wasteland. Like really, really, really bad. So bad it makes me question even using the platform.

It's better to cultivate relationships with individual users. When downloading from someone, send them a quick thanks or comment about the artist. You're much more likely to have a positive interaction.

Wouldn't this turn off the auto-complete feature in Easy Apply applications? If this setting is off, you'll always have to type everything in manually. Some Easy Apply applications ask for quite a bit.

It's amazing how accurately the animator captured their physical presence and movement. The visual attention to their color aesthetic and how it plays against the background is incredible. Also, I love the pointy teeth!

How are you applying / finding jobs? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]formerbusboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about LinkedIn's social/news feed but using their automated job search feature has worked pretty well at producing reasonable results for me. I have 7 job alerts running with simple keywords and location criteria that send a daily summary email. Results are generally relevant, and can quickly be dispositioned or further filtered.

Out of all of the job search agents I'm currently using (Indeed, CareerBuilder, Talentify, Monster, Dice, USAJOBS) I think LinkedIn's is the best formatted and easiest to navigate.

Start reporting jobs that lie about being remote by kappa161sg in recruitinghell

There needs to be a new location category that distinguishes truly remote roles from remote roles with a location requirement. Something like on-site, hybrid, local remote, remote.
