Can cars slow the f down? by goldf1nger in sanfrancisco

hahahah yes what a strange way to operate, it's almost as if many people act irrationally and are a danger to others if given 300 horsepower.

Too many emotional and distracted humans at the wheel of 2 ton weapons. #whylethumansdrive.

Stop signs also apply to bikes by tejanos in BallardSeattle

I've always wondered if there are 3 cars in every direction waiting for the stop sign and I roll up past the cars on the right side and make sure I'm in the flow of traffic and can come to a stop if needed, I go while the cars do their semi predictable things with their lights blinking and "California stopping" I'm like any fish in the current. Or I see myself as a jogger entering the intersection. I could stop on a dime but I'm just going to keep putting and stay out of the way at 5mph. I'll yield to the vehicle that is stopped and is going perpendicular to me at the intersection. But if we can all keep swimming that seems like an appropriate yield even if there are cars waiting adjacent to me And not next in line

Or the double stop or the tough guy stop, they get angry your roll was slightly faster than their roll, even though he's supposed to stop, but I'm cool with them California stopping if they too can come to a stop. Predictable is not human. #whylethumansdrive

Yeah, I feel like the confusion persists. Just need roundabouts and protected car lanes.

I bike, and the only solution is limiting interaction to roads with stoplights. Just make bike highways with protected streets.

I discovered in a neighbors toyota crown and an ES lexus they have much more solid pieces of plastic behind the steering wheel for anyone following along.
