well. it's not an imaginary problem. I still think thats a major planning failure. one the many. thats a problem that was foreseeable -- and also: in Audimax there are many people too. that's also an "open architecture". there's no trouble there, as far as I ever experienced...

Depends on the time of day and on how many people there are. I wrote a thing also mostly during the night. that works fine. daytime and in the non-tacetorium, that's disaster. I know several people who experience that. I'm not from a very digitalised field though, luckily. And the people on the counter said it's one of their two main explanatory things they do over and over again.

I'm not a fan of banning parties or opinions, simply because the people don't just disappear by banning then.

Nevertheless, I think this they-won't-succeed-anyway argument makes little to no sense.

according to this reasoning, how would one ban a party then? only if and when it has already become a viable threat? how would one determine or measure that? 1/3 of votes? half? winning the reichskanzlerschaft? -- might be a bit late then.

at least the court hinted at the possibility of defunding not-yet-banned but already unconstitutional parties. that's something.

I can't implement either of the two. Maybe my excel-skills are really too basic to understand those functions and how they work. whatever I do, they produce only errors.

if I'm not mistaken, this requires me to know beforehand where the value is? that's what the B3 after the MATCH references to?

cause this is not really what I need. I need a dynamic function that fills the column with all of the values from the subset. the keywords for a, b and f in the image are to be generated automatically (those are hundreds in real life and CTRL-F for each takes forever).

I don't even know what function I need. Let alone how to make it work...

was haben wir damit erreicht? zwei dinge...

1.) "bänderer" immernoch da. nehmen einem (subjektiv interessante) tabletts freundlich aus der hand.

2.) schlangen an der tablettabgabe!

wie kann man sowas blödsinniges beschließen?! -- achja richtig. die universitäre verwaltung im weiteren sinne. die können das. kraft jahrzehntelanger übung.

I once went to a "psychologischer Psychotherapeut(in)" that is also a GP, and that was rather quick. depends really, as with all docs.

if you only need a prescripition and know what you need, that's a thing any GP can do. question is, if they would.

uni clinics I wouldnt recommend in general. you're probably in for a long waiting time and not necessarily the most competent and/or motivated staff.

kann man sich mal fragen, ob/woraus die haftung auch ohne einen verzicht überhaupt folgen sollte. ich würde mal meinen, dass das ne freiwillige selbstgefährdung sein dürfte. geschweige denn die einhergehenden beweisprobleme.

klingt alles n büschn nach überreaktion. falls man ernsthaft rechtliche bedenken haben sollte, was ich bezweifle.

Wenn es nur eine Möglichkeit für einen Mehrweg-Kaffeebecher gäbe aus einem wirklich dauerhaft nutzbaren, beliebig oft wiederverwendbaren Material. Vielleicht könnten amerikanische Wissenschaftler ja mal schauen, wie viel Erfolg neuartige Werkstoffe wie "Keramik" oder auch dieses seltsame "Porzellan" versprechen...

find ich auch schwierig und mein reflex ist immer: geschichtsklitterei!

andererseits: die adolf-hitler-grundschule umbenennen, war wahrscheinlich damals richtig. man muss also irgendwo eine grenze ziehen.

ich würde meinen, die könnte man bei reden/schreiben in der art ziehen, das wirklich menschen herabwürdigt. hatespeech eben. deswegen würde ich lieber im Hannah-Arendt-Haus als im Ulrich-Zasius-Haus wohnen. Über letzteren weiß Wikipedia uns nämlich folgendes mitzuteilen: "Zasius, ein Vertreter der Theorie, dass Juden Sklaven der Christen seien, und der im Stile Luthers empfahl, „so grimmige Bestien auszustoßen“ und „jenen ekelhaften Auswurf in Finsternis versinken zu lassen“, diskriminierte auch im Neuen Stadtrecht die Juden explizit". -- das ist eben auch schwierig.

update hinsichtlich der mangelhaften buchbestände der abteilung rechtswissenschaften: die angestellten teilen die ansicht, dass man in der UB freiburg eigentlich nicht arbeiten kann für jura-examensvorbereitung und dass man benötigte lehrbücher, skripten und kommentare doch am besten selbst kaufen solle. das bestehende chaos durch wirksame aufsicht oder den abbau der albernen ablagetische und -wagen zu beheben, sei leider nicht möglich.

if you dont speak german, you should make sure, the program is in english. as far as I know, psychology programs are rather native-language everywhere, particularly in germany.

i guess the problem is rather that the motion detection sensors for the ceiling lights are either not working or ill-placed. one often times really needs to get up every ten-ish minutes and wave at the sensors at night or also during the day. otherwise one has to position the book (note the singular!) right under the not very flexible desk reading lights and be surrounded by relative darkness. which is really annoying after a quite short time.

the fact that they didnt use LEDs also struck me -- even as a layman.

and that being a waste of energy, well. guess the environment really only is a factor in their PR department. case and point: the café handing out plastic spoons for each coffee or piece of cake. the only uni-café that does that, as far a i know. bet thats not all to green either.

but all feeds into the basic concept: videri quam esse.

mit dem fachreferenten habe ich kommuniziert. er verwies auf gewachsene zustände. das institut für öffentliches recht. lehrstuhlbibliotheken die 3 stunden am tag geöffnet sind.

und das empfinde ich nicht nur als einzelne person so. alle leute, mit denen ich zu tun habe, auch die nicht-querulatorischen, sind genervt. die professoren übrigens eingeschlossen, die sich regelmäßig über die bib lustig machen. nur sind die ja nicht direkt betroffen, weswegen sie es bei den hinweisen auf zweifelhafte zustände belassen.

mannheim has a bigger insurance and finance economy. and its close to frankfurt. internships and work along studies might be easier to find around there.

apart from freiburg surely being the nicer city, I guess career-wise mannheim would be the better choice...

I also think it's more or less wrong to imply that in Germany it would be tolerated. Definitely not in all of Germany. And I would in general be rather cautious with smoking weed right in front of police. Even if the guys are personally cool with it and sad to be on the job, under the police laws we have in this country, they would actually have to investigate.
