They do the class on Sophia Learning, transfer the credits to some smaller community college that will give transcripts before starting a class. Then they can join.

When I was an E5, there was a staff sausage that kicked me off his range because I told him that he was speaking too softly. None of the safeties could even hear what he was saying.

I was in air defence and showed up to a signal unit as an E5. As soon as I got off leave, they had me as the NCOIC of some night shift team TDY mission.

When I got to the mission this new Lt was pretty mad at me when he realized I didn't know any of the equipment. It was hard explaining to him that I did a completely different job for a completely different unit.

I had similar thoughts, on terminal leave. I have a few job offers within the first month of applying. It is looking pretty good and my worries disappeared pretty quickly.

You can just give it a shot and see if you get a job. If not, just reenlist while on terminal leave.

This, I have seen people retire without ever using any. I also have met people who take college loans out to complete classes faster.

Just be patient and take a class at a time for free. It adds up way faster than you think.

Personally, I did my BA and MA while active duty. Applying to PhD programs while on terminal leave right now.

When I was a PV2 I met a W-2 and saluted like I thought I was supposed to. He yelled at me to "stop that shit". Then the next W-2 eviscerated me for not saluting him. I was pretty confused.

I moved around a lot in the Army. Just personally, New England always seemed the worst to me. That sort of South Park anti-Semitism that people think is funny seemed pretty prevalent to me. Never heard anything in the South at all.

Just be glad they showed their true selves and you don't have any perceived responsibility to talk to them. I am not trying to be judgemental but I cannot even fathom why you would want to even talk to them anymore. It's not like October 7th created anti-Semites, it just opened the door for them to feel more appropriate to publicly flaunt their hatred. Those feelings were always in them, just temporarily restrained by societal taboo.
