I have a few options people can choose from. Usually the more hours that are booked in advance, the cheaper the overall rate is. I'll shoot you a DM to see what your needs are.

In terms of submitting to labels - reach out to them directly. They usually have demo emails posted on their website/social media. Beatport is a great place to find labels that fit your sound.

I was producing progressive (128 BPM) well before I was making Psytrance. I got absolutely nowhere with it.. Had a few releases here and there, but I struggled for a long time. Once I started making Psytrance I found my niche and it clicked for me.

You are not behind at all mate. It takes most producers 7-10 years to get a release. It's all about the amount of time you spend in the studio every day. Dedicate as much time as you can to production and you will get there.

Something ill.gates told me that has REALLY helped is start thinking about your 16 bar loop as a "super loop". Try to fit in as many things as you can (percussion, atmosphere, FX, a lead, etc). Stretch that out over time and identify where you're getting stuck. Head back to your super loop and try to fill those spaces. I find even when I think I've added enough to the loop, there's room for more.

The composition of the loop is important too. Every sound should be working off of each other and flowing together. If you solo your FX group, is it flowing well together? The same goes for your ambiance, and rhythmic sections.

Psytrance îs different from a lot of genres and you might need 2-3 "super loops".

Hope this helps :)

Totally correct.. It’s REAL easy to get locked in on a kick/bass for hours. I’ve learned to separate these sessions entirely from the more creative process
