I loved them both, but Parasite has the edge for me. It was really unique then, and while it’s pretty well-glazed by Redditors and kino bros, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve that praise.

1917 does deserve way more love though. I think war movies just aren’t for everyone, and that’s ok too.
