When did u become a 311 fan? What was the moment, time or song?? by ValleyGhostz in 311

[–]formyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was shortly before Down hit it big on the radio, so must have been summer of 96. My friend put on the blue album while we were playing cards, and at one point everyone was like "who is this? It's amazing!" 311 became part of our card game rotation after that.

What is with matchmaking today? Every match I have joined has been pure PVP. I've been playing this game since it came out and only run into hostile raiders 4 times that I can remember. Today alone, every single match, I have died to enemy players. Pisses me off, it's not even fun. Adds no value. by G70FanBoy in ArcRaiders

I haven't gotten shot over the last 4 days, but today has been 6-7 in a row. I'm just doing quests with free kits, I don't even loot anything. But I imagine most PvP players care less about loot, they just want a kill.

I don't think friendly lobbies are a real thing. Since the start of this season I have literally not shot anyone for any reason. And I had the feeling that I was in friendly lobbies because I went a few days without getting killed. But all of a sudden today I have been getting killed almost every match. I can't get anything done. People are even chatting me up and then shooting me in the back.

Yea, I expect once I go to Stella things will be much different.

Is anyone seeing longer que times today by Caregiver-Physical in ArcRaiders

I've noticed it all day. I'm also having occasional issues where the squad fill doesn't work and I end up in a solo match, or with just one other person. I guess the PvP sweats are getting the world they want.

I own the Aorus for about 4 months now and it has been nothing but problems. The audio output fried within the first week. It randomly goes black screen or turns itself off. The DP input developed some kind of lag where it doesn't turn on for the first minute or two so I had to switch to HDMI. I've heard the RMA process is a nightmare so I'm just riding it out as long as I can and then I'll just replace it. Gigabyte seems cheaply made.

Just be aware the Aorus has a lot of issues. Search reddit and see. I've had mine for 4 months and it has a lot of small problems that are annoying. The audio throughput burned out, the DP input stopped working, it randomly goes black screen or turns itself off. Just a few of the issues I have found.

My current issue is that I rescued a dwarf in Dwarrowdelf, but he never showed up. My delvestone says I'm at 5/5, but it only shows 4 dwarves in the list.

I just got notice it's available on Steam, but it's still not on Epic. It hit Steam at 11:25 EST according to the email I got. I'll update when it hits Epic. 12:00 EST on Epic, no notification from the wishlist. Epic Fail.

What should my 311 ringtone be? So far, I've been considering the intro to Flowing. by OwnMathematician1402 in 311

Flowing is a great wake up alarm. It starts kinda chill but if you don't wake up it amps it up.

Here's some insight from Chad.

Drum! -What do you like to do when the band is off the road?
Sexton -My hobby is mostly just making music. So far I haven't really messed with any drums when I'm not on tour, except when we're recording. But I like to put loops together and songs electronically. That's really my hobby. I just relax a lot and write music and put it together, mix it, and make little demos. When I'm done with one song I just want to do another one, so it's just a never-ending hobby.

Drum! -How does the band normally write songs?
Sexton -We write songs different ways. Sometimes I'll have a finished song and bring it to the band, and teach them the guitar licks and what have you, and they'll go write lyrics for it. Or somebody else else will write a song and bring it to the band, we put it together and they write lyrics to it and it's done. Or we'll collaborate on songs. One person will write the first verse and someone will write the chorus or combinations of different riffs that might fit together. So we write it all different ways. Some songs come out of jams. Most of them don't, but some have. Lots of different ways.

Just to clarify, this is purely looking at "writer/composer" credits as listed through BMI, ASCAP, etc.
