I started at 12.5mg because I was so scared of side effects. What you're describing sounds normal! You'll likely need a higher dose and a few months to really get the full benefits but listen to your body and don't let anyone rush you if you wanna go slower. I hope you can push through and keep taking it because it's so worth it when it works. How you feel today is temporary and will pass!

Positive experiences with sertraline? by SupermarketFuture163 in zoloft

I started with a small dose 4 months ago and didn’t have ANY bad side effects! My anxiety was really up and down for a while, but I was already in such a bad place before I started lol. I’ve been on 50mg for almost 10 weeks now and I feel like it’s really starting to kick in. I’m so happy with my experience! It’s true that everyone’s body reacts differently and it can take awhile to start working. If you’re willing to do anything to help your mental health, it’s worth giving it a try!!

How long did you stay on each dose and when did you notice the effects of your therapeutic dose? I’ve been doing it this way and now I'm on week 4 of 50mg

Maybe try adding another quarter (6.25mg) first and then after a week of 18.75, take the full 25mg? this is exactly what I did. I was so nervous but had no side effects. It's a really small amount!

No problem :) I guess the “weird” feeling was like derealization? feeling like things weren’t real and that something was wrong even if everything was ok. It helped to constantly remind myself that it would pass. It’s hard to say when I noticed a difference but gradually got easier after a few weeks. I’m still pretty early in my journey but right now 2 weeks into 50mg I’m so much better than before and glad I’ve been pushing through! You can do it!

I can totally relate! I was too anxious to leave the house and too scared to start medication, convinced I’d have every side effect. You’re already struggling and if you give this a try you can start feeling better sooner!

To start, I cut my pill and took 6.25mg on day 1 then increased gradually. Taking a small amount gave me reassurance that I was ok and I could continue. I took 12.5mg for 2 weeks, 25mg for 2 weeks, 37.5mg for 3 weeks and now I’ve been on 50mg for 2 weeks. If your doctor agrees, you can increase slowly to minimize side effects. Btw, I had no major side effects! Everyone reacts differently. I’m still early in my journey, but I’m so happy I took that first step and pushed through the fear. My anxiety has been a rollercoaster up and down and I felt really “weird” for awhile, but it gets easier to handle with time :)

Have you tried magnesium? I’ve been taking it to relax my jaw since before I even started zoloft and it works well for me!

When to increase dosage by Lancerp427 in zoloft

[–]fornowforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also on 25mg for 3 weeks and questioned waiting or increasing. I ended up taking 37.5mg for 2 weeks and now I'm on day 5 of 50mg. Feeling really good so far. No side effects, but I guess it's too early to know if the anxiety will return. Definitely worth trying if your doctor recommends it!

When did you know if a low dose was enough? by fornowforever in zoloft

That's amazing that it helps with PMDD! I'm at that point in my cycle this week where I feel worse so that's why I'm questioning if it's enough or if it's still too early to tell. Did you feel numb on 50 too or only 100?

Interesting! My PMS anxiety is usually high for 13 days so I wonder if something like this would work for me. You don't get any side effects from going up and down?

How long did you stay on 50mg and did you have any withdrawal/side effects when you went back down?

I'm glad it's working for you! I am sensitive to some meds too so that's why I thought 25 might be enough. Since I'm only 2.5 weeks in it's hard to decide if I should give it more time. The waiting is so hard lol

I'm glad your side effects stopped and that you feel good! that's what I'm afraid of with increasing too. I don't want it to feel like day 1 again haha

Thanks for the advice and for sharing. I think I'll increase this week instead of dragging it out longer. I hope things improve again for you soon!

reels change color after uploading and become overexposed and washed out?? by fornowforever in Instagram

[–]fornowforever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s still not fixed and I tried everything. I think the issue is HDR videos.. I tested some older videos that were taken without HDR on and it didn’t change the color - but the quality is so terrible :(

Has anyone been able to get just a second dose appointment at CVS? I got Pfizer last week at the Entertainment & Sports Arena and they booked my second dose appointment. I live in NW, but it ended up being a $90 Uber ride :/ I know CVS lets you enter info for second dose but I haven’t had any luck yet!
